If however he hasn't screwed her, can they even charge him with anything?

If she agreed to go to France then he can't get done for kidnapping, he may lose his job, but I don't think they can put him on the sex offenders register if he never did anything to her right?

Even if she agreed to go I think he can still be charged with abduction due to her age. He's taken a minor out of the country without parental consent.

Uniformed police officers with an arrest warrant say otherwise.

Anyway, I suppose she could refuse to be physically examined. I don't know what the law here - or there - says about that. In the UK, refusing to cooperate (i.e. not answering questions, not surrendering passwords, etc) is a criminal offence now as far as I know. Perhaps refusing to allow an intimate physical examination falls into that category.

If that were the case then suspected rape victims could be prosecuted if they refused an internal examination to avoid having to go through more trauma, since they're "refusing to cooperate with a police investigation".

Good point. As I said, I don't really know what the law says about these things. I suppose if she does refuse a physical examination she's as good as damned him anyway, so why not just go along with it?

He will lose his job (and be unemployable as a teacher) as he has had a relationship with her (whether sexual or not). Everyone will also assume that he has strawberry floated her. Whether he goes to jail or not, his life will be destroyed. In other words, he might as well have plundered her.

Because she might not want a stranger performing an invasive internal examination on a very intimate and private part of her body?

Is it still abducting if she went on her own? I mean she theoretically could have gone to france on her own, and he just went along with the ride to make sure that she was safe.

Technically she could see it like that but it will be taken as abduction and if she says that it will just be said that he manipulated her,

He was apparently using his own passport at hotels and driving his own car. I'd rather flee for the rest of my life than face what he faces now.

Seriously, he wasn't even trying.

'Child' abduction. :fp: I guess this means they can't prove sex, which means he can't be charged with having sex with an under-age person or sexual relations in a position of trust. At least not yet.

Child abduction might be a hard one to make stick though.

Yeah. Not much a jury can really do if the girl gets on the stand and says she willingly went along with it all.

'Abuse of trust with a minor' is a criminal offence is it not?

At her age I'm sure they would claim she is immature and doesn't know what she is saying. He is totally and completely strawberry floated.
