I took a very different tactic in this game to the last. Happy that I managed to swing the vote in the thread tonight, even if that didn't change the outcome.
For anyone who hasn't figured it out, I was Kristin Flynn.

I had no idea whether to trust it or not (especially on the first day), but figured the best test would be to try and get Kristin lynched - it's not like there was much else to go on anyway. To be honest I was surprised when I started winning the vote, so I figured it would be better to not risk people changing their minds and not reveal anything more! I was even going to make it a public vote like I promised, but then the vote started swinging away from me as it was getting close to 6pm, I panicked a little, and decided to go with a secret ballot to be sure Kristin didn't change people's minds (I don't have anything against Peggy other than I needed a second candidate, sorry!).
Anyway, now I know the note wasn't legitimate and it's caused enough chaos. At least now if I or anyone else gets another note in the night you'll know not to trust it.
Interestingly, I find this fairly believable. I can only see three outcomes here:
1) This is a lie
2) This is true and an error (and if so, no worries, it happens)
3) This is genuine and a feature of a role within the game
If it is genuine, I would assume that the vampires picked me as a target and I'll take some solace from that! I felt bad for Peggy as I obviously wanted to nudge the voting away from myself, but I didn't see Peggy as a priority target and I was surprised to see the vote swing so heavily against Peggy. I think that the distrust in Will paid off in my favour here, with the vote turning in to a proxy vote for and against him holding the ballot in secret.
If Will is lying, I hope that he gets kicked out tomorrow!
As per my posts in the thread, I do think that less active players was the place we should have been looking. I do agree though, that it appears that there are a number of NPC characters and I think that the theory in thread that they will be players bought back to life is quite likely.

Not a spoiler- Yes I always think it best to go after inactives at the beginning of these games too. Make the enemy post.

So every player is a descendent of players from the original MMAYAV. The evil mastermind needed a mass human sacrifice and thought it would be amusing to use the same house and same families.

Peggy?! Wow, you didn't hang around long after surviving the vote, gutted for you! I felt a bit guilty when the vote swayed so much against you, though I was sure I would still get the cut. As I said earlier, I think that was more a proxy vote against Will in the end.

Nice to see ya Sprouty and Dan.
So some interesting stuff to reveal in here: Susanna is the head of a good guys cult who has the ability to PM. Just before I was killed off, she had recruited me into her private circle.
Also, I saw Odetta Marsh sending PMs straight after the 9pm deadline, so I assume they are a special role of some sort, likely Vampire.
Very much expecting Will to be Herbi, Hugh to be Moggy.

Clarkman - I too was part of Susanna's cult (she's not done well to pick long lasting recruits has she?
) When Mori confirmed that you were Hoot i.e. Hoot had died, I wondered if perhaps you were the head of the Vampire worshippers.
Mori - why is it that the thread aren't yet aware we're dead?
Also, who is Valerie?
