Man, I would love to join in one of those games and shoot the gooseberry fool out of those modders.

Doesn't that just take all the fun out of the game if you can shoot randomly in the sky and still hit people with unerring accuracy?

Seeing as their gamertag has now been broadcasted to the world I doubt they'll be doing it for much longer...

I don't know if Infinity Ward did it for a day or if the server got hacked but the other week the domination playlist matches were all either super fast or in slo-mo. It was pretty cool, but this type of modding is BS.

I actually want to play CoD4 with low gravity and infinite-ammo rocket launchers. Only if they did it as an official game type.

Some people don't play for fun. They play for some perverse sense of kicking someone else's arse, however unfairly.

Because it doesn't matter to them how it is done. They just like to see others suffer, and they'll stop at nothing (except actually practicing) to achieve that.

This. It's what has kept me from online gaming all this time. It's just too bloody annoying.

It doesn't happen that often to be honest. 95% of games I play online seem to be in the right spirit. Usually the odd tosser but they don't last long. I think you're missing out if you're not playing online, especially if you have a 360 or PC.

What if you simply prefer to play alone? What if playing online damages your ego by showing up just how gooseberry fool you are? I don't feel like I've missed out on anything by not playing online.

How do you know if you've not played? I never saw the appeal in online multiplayer until I got into it.

I'm not saying single player doesn't hold value, of course it does, just in my experience online play has massively extended the longevity in games.

As the online element is a very integral part of the game with so many titles these days, I think you are missing out if you ignore it.

Each to their own though, if you don't like it you don't like it.

I wouldn't even dignify this with the term modding. It's cheating, pure and simple.

:?

I don't get it. I've racked up nearly 10 days cod4 online time in total, never seen an air walker and rarely get team killed on purpose...

Am I just lucky or something? Cod4 is the best online thing ever of all time ever.

I think it's more that I'm unlucky. The last few times I've played team games it's just been ruined by some p**** with an RPG,but I've only seen a few modders. It's the reason I mainly play free for all now.But you're right it's a great game.

Halo 2/3 is the worst game for this type of thing. The most unsportsmanlike, cheating, annoying bastards I've ever come across. CS: Source is like Mensa compared to Halo 3.

I played on PSN for a little while. Didn't do anything for me.
