If people couldn’t get into the previous games or the beta then I probably wouldn’t recommend it.

Sniff, I pre-ordered it just before going to bed last night. Here's hoping it was the cramped handheld factor of the fact I only played an hour or two that held it back.

Has anyone, or would anyone be able to try the remote play controls with a vita? I’m more likely to play this if it works well in remote play. Destiny worked fine as they mapped the controls well, but a lot of other things have been terrible.

Would anyone be able to check for me?

Thanks.

My Vita battery is dead just now but I'll charge it and have a look later.

Think this might have been popular: Amazon have sold out.

I'm still undecided. I've never played the series, but I want to try it.

It was never going to take much to sway me. The EG Essential did it.

Yeah, that's the other reason I took so long to buy it. But how the hell did you know that?

But in all seriousness everyone is going to be using Monster Hunter language rather than English VA right

The only thing putting me off is that the handler was really annoying and not helpful when she was jabbering on in MonHunese in the beta but then again I guess the tutorials will ease up a couple of hours in

Stuck here waiting on the PC release. Annoying, but I would rather wait than have a shoddy port. If it comes out and then it's still a bad port, then I will be mad.

It doesn't have a proper custom Vita control scheme like Destiny does. Doesn't seem to use the rear touchpad for anything and the top two corners of the screen are L2 and R2 making some weapons a bit difficult to use.

Text is really tiny on the screen too making it pretty hard to read as well.

Had said to myself it was this or DBZ Fighters. Preordered that.

Couldn't resist and picked this up today.

Played about 4 hours with dual swords. Liking it so far. The feeling of chasing down a wounded animal is pretty great. Wholly a solo experience so far, but I'd be interested in teaming up if people are interested in the future.

Is anyone playing this on standard PS4? what's the performance like? smooth 30fps? Thinking of getting it but might wait for PC version?

Framerate is a bit all over the place at times and it certainly isn't smooth 30fps.

The online is still really awkward, I was understandable that it was like this on the Nintendo consoles but they really don't have an excuse now that they have Xbox Live and PSN. Eventually managed to get some games going with Kil to just farm.
