...this is the closest I have come to buying a console I already own for a special edition
I can kind of justify it as an upgrade to a Pro too (although not really I don't have a 4K or HDR TV)

I was actually quite tempted to get a Pro for this game but then I saw the performance in the beta was nowhere near locked 60fps.

I really, really hope the controller is available to buy separately, can't justify getting the console seeing as I only bought my PS4 like three months ago but hoo boy I would throw some money at that controller.
Bummed that I'm not going to have much chance for the last beta, got an exam tomorrow and an essay to do over the weekend. Not decided whether I'm buying the full game at launch either, I still have Bloodborne and Wolfenstein to finish with Doom, TLOU, Metro and Shadow of Mordor all waiting in the wings too. Although I guess I can justify it as something I can dip in and out of whenever I want.

Does the beta at the weekend use the same download as the first? I missed the second so don't know.

Had a quick go vs Nergigante, got my arse whooped (I blame the fact I kept trying to use Bloodborne controls by accident)

Failed a few times in both singleplayer and multi with 2 of us.
I was getting super frustrated at desperately trying to cycle through all the items and ammo types that you get given in the beta. And accidentally triggering the quick select wheel.

I think the review embargo is up on Thursday or Friday. Did you try the beta?
