It doesn't have a proper custom Vita control scheme like Destiny does. Doesn't seem to use the rear touchpad for anything and the top two corners of the screen are L2 and R2 making some weapons a bit difficult to use.

Text is really tiny on the screen too making it pretty hard to read as well.

Cheers for checking it out. I picked it up anyway. I find it works fine on the vita if you use the option to swap r1/2 and l1/2. Only awkward thing is sprinting, but can manage with that on the bottom left of the touch screen.

The game is so good. It’s crazy how big an upgrade it is from previous versions, not just graphically but in every way.

I had no idea that this franchise was so popular over here. It’s been pushed and shoved into my face a lot. Is it a time of year thing, not much else going on?

They are doubling down on the marketing for it, World is looking way bigger than the previous games. It has been growing in popularity though, especially since hitting 3DS

Never played a MH game but all my friends have nagged me to get this, picked it up today. Hopefully its not gooseberry fool.

Combination of the release date being just at the right time at the end of the month and more people giving a gooseberry fool because it's not on a Nintendo console or a handheld.

Been playing with long sword for 12 hours, moved to bow.... It's like horizon zero Dawn but with bigger monsters. Such a fun and powerful weapon.

Any idea how to get the HZD stuff in this? I checked online and it suggests there should be an event quest but it isn’t there when I look.

It's really tiny and it doesn't help that they're still using the same awful font from the 3DS games.

It should be in events - Call of the Wild or something simalar

HR5 though so maybe only appears at certain point of story?

Ok Im not going nuts then. I have to really lean in to read most of it.

Gonna give it another try later this week and if I still dont get on Ill just return it I think.
