Recently it's No Man's Sky.

I've heard they fixed it now, but they released a product which was missing half of what was promised in the marketing. It even got taken off steam for a while because of it IIRC.

Then you have Kinect and more specifically the ex Bullfrog guys Milo. It was all made up, they knew at the time it was never possible but tried to market it as a finished product.

If it makes you feel better, Mark Hamill is now 72.

And they still haven't finished patching it!

That's only misleading marketing if you consider videogame journalism to be paid for advertisements...oh yeah, fair enough.

I'm now very wary of YouTubers and X-ers who publish videos/tweets about how much free stuff they've received from a publisher... and then go on to speak in glowing terms about a game by that publisher.

There are 56 scores on that thumbnail. I certainly can't name 56 gaming review sites or publications generally and few of the ones I do know about appear to be on that list. For me it's not really worth being bothered about to be honest.

That Starfield image reminds me of this movie poster where they made a two star review look like five:

To be fair, it's balanced out by Glamour giving it 7/5.

Bit harsh. Bleeding from the arse can be the result of having had an exceptionally good time.

Supervised stunt. Do not attempt.
