Wow, this is nice of Evolution to give you guys rewards Despite not playing this much with you guys as I'd like, I still had great time. I'll be playing this game still to see if I can get single player completed, but I will be getting Motorstorm 3

Amazing gesture by Evolution there. I'm glad they recognised Chalky's hard work.


On that note, having tried to film and edit a couple of nights of MM myself, I cannot tell you how much time and effort Chalky must have been putting in each week, especially with his quick turnarounds. The man is a hero.

Evolution Studios, I definitely think this should be leaked to gaming sites, a definite story of xmas cheer.

Apocalypse needs to have the Chalkitdown Memorial Motorstorm League, preferably from day 1 so nobody has time for serious practice to learn tracks/vehicles. Anyone else got a camera/lots of spare time?

This may be wishful thinking, but I'd love some easter eggs in apocalypse somewhere, either referencing forumites or iconic vehicles like chalky's yellow bus

I posted the story over at the Pacific Rift thread at GAF. The thread over there is deader than dead, though, which is a shame, so it probably won't make any difference. We need to get the word out about how awesome Evolution are.

Mafro has already been onto Dave to get it on his site.

I had a go at making a video once (link).
The main problems I had were:
1. I can't record the audio. My camera is really sensitive and picks up all of my button tapping but as I use a headset it doesn't record all the banta.
2. To substitute for the lack of banta, I used some background music and edited the video slightly to match the music, but when I uploaded it to youtube they muted the video for copyright reasons. So I reuploaded it with some slightly more obscure music that doesn't match the editing.
3. I tried to put Sony Vegas back on my laptop but it kept telling me I'm not an administator when clearly I am, so I had to use movie maker instead.
4. Accidently encoded the video in fullscreen format and couldn't be bothered to change it.

I'm sure I'll have another go at making a video when we all play Apocalypse but I don't think i'll be making one every week and they aren't anywhere near as good as Chalky's.

On the subject of making the videos, how does chalk get it so we can here ourselves on the videos yet we can also hear him in game

Audio input set to mic and audio output set to surround speakers. You can change them in the options.

I have HD PVR capture card and my editing is decent.

This is bloody awesome! Big thank to Evolution for this, it's nice to think they've been keeping the thread watched during the years.

Mainly thanks to Chalk though, you're a genuine legend for the amount of effort you've put in. Hopefully as a mini community we can get something decent together for Apocalypse.

I've played MotorStorm Pacific Rift for some time now and I've never seen any of you guys
My question is: Is this Motorstorm-Monday-Event still on? And would I be allowed to join it?

Once Apocalypse is out Motorstorm Monday will be back in action.

I just hope my Union Jack Land Rover is still in that vehicle so much.
