What program is the best for mounting CD images? I remember Winckle posting a really good one, a while ago, but I can't remember what it was called.

I somehow missed one and I'm now uninstalling Trovi :fp: I was hoping to find the one Winckle recommended so that I can avoid making the same mistake in the future.

I don't think so. The program was completely free and didn't mention licences.

Ahh ok, Virtual Clone Drive is really good, I use it at work a lot.

There software for cloning disk has a cost, but clone drive is free and great if you just want to mount images.

I preferred PowerISO for its simplicity and no adware, if you can find a copy of that. It also had the ability to browse disk images and export bits, and even temp extract and run from there, so you didn't even need to bother mounting a lot of stuff.

I used that before I found the new program so I went back to it for now.

That's the one, thank you! Bye bye PowerISO, hello WinDCEmu. I'll be sure to add the installer to my DropBox so that I never forget it again.

Just in case you do what I do and remember names wrong off the bat. It's wincdemu. As in Windows CD Emulator. Probably.
