I managed to get over most childhood film scares from back then - Quint's death in Jaws, face melting in Raiders, all of Care Bears: The Movie - but robot lady still freaks me out. Never realised until I saw that gif.

It's ok. I wasn't aware it was such a widespread issue so your post has prompted me to set up a support group for others affected by that scene.

Our meetings will just be your gif playing on a loop until we either become desensitised to it or pass out from reliving the horror. I think it'll be a big success.

Just finished watching the Ultimate Edition. I enjoyed it the first time round but more so with the UE. Do I remember right or was that warehouse fight after the Doomsday fight in the Theatrical? Either way if you had a problem with Bats brutality then that scene you better brace yourself for it was awesome. Really can't wait for more Batfleck action in Suicide Squad.

Downloading the UE now, not watched the original version either so this will be my first exposure to Bats v Supes.

Aaaaand watched.

If that was the worst film ever made then I'm a goddam Chinaman. It wasn't perfect, but it was perfectly watchable.

Batman was great, Superman was as expected and Wonder Woman was...there. She should have been a bit more Amazonian and statuesque (with a larger chest) but yeah she was alright. Sets up Justice League quite nicely I think, I'm guessing it'll be Darkseid or something like that for the big bad.

Thought they made a bit of a meal of introducing the other justice league characters, but then how else can you introduce other "metahumans"?

Doomsday was fine, although would have liked to see him as a villain in a future film really.

I even thought (A)Lex Luthor was ok, Facebook guy just went for the crazy eccentric style instead of the animated series style of a brooding genius, which I'm fine with, they have to put their own spin on things I guess.

Definitely not as bad as people made out, think a lot of critics were just jumping on the bandwagon.

Also Amy Adams looked a bit chub in some scenes, think she's going to age badly. Diane Lane was hotter

I think going in with low expectations helped! There are flaws and questions, no doubt, but I would rather watch that again than Age of Ultron. I found that film offensively boring.

I did. Haven't seen the original cut so don't know what was new or left out.

I've watch a bit more of the UE - it does add in a fair bit of explanatory logic (e.g. the bomb was lead lined, Luthor is a bit more clearly setting stuff up (mainly in 1st half to explain stuff) - but it's still a terrible terrible film.
