I dunno... they managed to use the bones of the story for The Fast and the Furious, and they didn't call that Point Break...

Obviously you never realised that The Fast and the Furious was a subtitle. The film's name is Point Break 2: The Fast and the Furious. They then spun it off into the now wildly-successful Fast/Furious series after Point Break 3: xXx(also starring Vin Diesel) sucked a load of donkey dick. Plans for a Point Break 4 were eventually folded into Live Free or Die Hard.

That's worryingly plausible.

 Had you not added Shifty Smilie, there's a very real chance I'd have believed that.

So Rocky Maivia is in talks to produce and star in a remake of Big Trouble in Little China. Remaking Carpenter films doesn't normally end well but I think he's a pretty good choice to take over the Jack Burton role - he certainly has the comic skills. Not sure if I want it though.

Eventually they're going to run out of things to remake and someone's actually going to make something new.

I got it.

A remake of a remake of a film.

Pay me £1 million, Hollywood for that fabulous idea.

Oh god no , i really hope this doesn't happen, Big Trouble is one of my favourite films ever. Hollywood already created that Evil Dead remake crap which was pointless.

How about a film about remaking a film? 'The Godfather: The Remake: The Making Of'
