Hmmm...

In other Disney related news, they're doing a Mary Poppins sequel! Wonder how much of it they'll change from the original books (Saving Mr Banks makes it seem like a lot of what made the first film good was Disney veering away from what Travers wanted to do)...

Songs by the guys who did the music for Smash, so it's bound to at least have a cracking soundtrack  Almost looking forward to a live action Disney film...

Hopefully that trailer is not indicative of the film's general tone, visually it looks great though - even if a little unfinished.

Meanwhile, Creed is still looking potentially brilliant

Two good trailers there. Creed is looking the best of the two though. Could be a massive surprise?

Is that a joke? Ip Man would absolutely destroy Tyson

In fact he'd probably beat anyone he faced.

"The film will also star Mike Tyson, and Yip Man's pupil Bruce Lee, recreated through CGI."

That'll be, uh, interesting?

I just heard about John Hillcoat's (The Proposition) new film and so hunted out the trailer:

It looks brilliant, and what a cast!

Prometheus 2: Alien: Covenant

twitter.com/20thcenturyfox/status/666299338813870084

Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world -- whose sole inhabitant is the "synthetic" David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.

I know Prometheus got some seriously mixed reviews, but I absolutely loved it (flaws and all) so I can't wait to see where Ridley takes the franchise next

Imagine the movement on those as she runs. :datass:

In other news, sorry if this has been covered, but there appears to be a script for the first Dark Tower movie, The Gunslinger, in circulation. Matthew McConaughey has been sent it with a view to being cast as the Man in Black.

I'm currently on book three and it's great, though the scope is so huge it'll be interesting to see how they tackle it in films.
