There was a cast introduced trailer for the Justice League film before Thor last night - it looks pretty awful actually.

Is that the one where they basically beg you to go see the film?

Yes

I reckon it's gonna bomb. Reviews are coming in now and they're vile - rotten tomatoes aren't even allowed to put their average up until release so you know they know it's gooseberry fool and have no faith in it.

Nah it's not going to bomb - but I reckon it'll massively under perform

I just have no interest in seeing justice league. I've really struggled with the DC films of late. I live the DC TV shows. They are great but have no interest in the films. I will give wonder woman a try though when it comes on sky as it was so well received.

Film wise I just massively prefer the way marvel portray their characters and the style of the movies.

The post credit scene for Justice League is on YouTube in good quality. Just search, Justice League Ending.

It's actually very good.

Not going to spoil it for myself as I'm actually looking forward to the sheer spectacle of seeing a JL film at long last, regardless of how average it turns out to be.

It turns out at the end that the bad guys mother was called Martha and they all become best friends.

Pre-release tracking has this down for a $110 million opening weekend in the US. Bum.

I think that's good (IIRC Thor was about £120m) - but it'll be no where near what they wanted/expected.

Edit

Here you go (Better the WW, worse than BvS as SS too)

http://comicbook.com/dc/2017/11/15/just ... ox-office/

http://www.slashfilm.com/justice-league ... 0-million/

Basically it's a perfect good number, and likely indicates it'll make a profit - but it's disappointing in relation to peers - and as the big "event" movie of their DCEU

What'll be more concerning is - that projection hasn't gone up. These are largely people that booked tickets etc weeks ago. There's no evidence of buzz/hype building

It will be interesting to see the extended cut and the film the original director would have made. Probably a lot darker, less humor, more slow motion, more cgi.

Rampage - based on the game, from the director of San Andreas. Much to my eternal shame..... I like the look of that .... I am a sucker for giant Monsters though.

I enjoyed San Andreas. This trailer looks alright to me, will likely give it a watch.

It's been "revealed" now - 37%

Ouch. If you're going to make a big unveiling event, maybe have a better product

This might actually be quite watchable, in a daumb blockbuster kind of way.
