I had no idea he was originally meant to be the main villain in Blade 2. There's an alternate Blade 1 ending with him in it.

That would’ve been fair enough, and you can see where he would’ve fit into the plot quite well. He’s not substantial enough to be the protagonist of his own movie though.

His films have gone from amazing to ok, to bloody hell that was gooseberry fool. Hopefully it's good and gritty like the perfect District 9. His recent short movie stuff looked good too.

They can't seem to make their mind up about how big the shark is. Sometimes it's like a very big great white, other times it's like a strawberry floating submarine

Have you read the books?
I'm aware of the books - but only book 4 onwards was on Audio...
But Book 1 came out on Audible JUST THIS MORNING. So I've started that over lunch. Nothing in my spec iss based on the 3 chapters I've heard

I’ve been reading about this sonic movie for a while. I just can’t picture how it is going to look. I’m expecting a CGI sonic in a real but wacky world setting.
But if they are just starting production now and it’s slated for a release in only one years time I’m really not expecting much from it.
