PostMoving files from a Mac G3 onto a PC

Hi GR Experts!

My partner has an old Mac G3 that's been in the attic for ages and we're looking to get rid of it. However, it has a load of old files, photos etc. that she'd like to keep. It runs up fine.

We're a 'PC' house now, and I don't have any useful Mac experience. What would be the best way to transfer the stuff off, given that (presumably) they use differently formatted drives etc.

I can see the Mac has a network port and also a CD drive, not sure if it is writable...

Any help would be welcome!

Cheers!

Doesn't it have to be formatted in a certain way? Or am I going back to the old days when Macs and PCs were totally incompatible?
