Can you burn CD's to a memory stick or something?

Just convert them to MP3 format in Windows and copy the files to a USB stick. Job done.

...and yes, he will then be able to choose the tracks through the headset.

Thanks man.

Can you just burn a CD straight to the hard drive? I have no idea about this stuff anymore :fp:
If you insert a music CD into a PC running a recent version of Windows, it may auto start an app offering to rip it to the hard drive.

Make sure you change the default options or you'll end up with drm'd files.

What should you change it too?

Just make sure it doesn't act protection and is recording in MP3 or AAC encoding.

Edit: not sure it actually has DRM built in any more, although mine still tries to use WMA files by default.

Thanks mate I might just use VLC to make it easy.

Does anyone know if I should look up if there should be a format for sorting tracks into folders for the stereo.

Depends on the stereo and it's options. What I find most of the time is if you use the album option, the tracks will be played in alphabetical order. If you can choose folder, it will play them in the order nature intended. Really depends on your car stereo. One of my cars is a right bitch and always plays albums I've ripped in alphabetical order but if I put in something downloaded from Amazon or the Play Store, it plays the albums in the correct order. I've looked at the track properties but have never worked out why this is. If anyone has any pointers it would be appreciated.

Yes?
