That is kinda why I'm probably getting an Xbox for my birthday. Stuff like Forza Horizon, Halo, Sunset Overdrive...that 2D game Microsoft showed that I've forgot the name of :Shifty: backed up with the likes of GTA V, Metro, Call of Duty, etc will definitely be enough to see me through to the end of the year.

As for Gears, I swear there was a poster for it in the Phantom Dust trailer. I reckon it's nailed on for E3 next year but.I don't think it'll be out until November 2016 at earliest. From what they've said they really really early in development.

Did they release a date for metro?

How long was that studio going before being handed Gears? I find it hard to believe that whatever they were working on couldn't be the basis for a new Gears of War game as its the only way giving them the franchise makes any sense. Releasing close to Halo 5 seems foolish but late 2016 seems an awfully long wait for an already announced game. You'd like to think that means we are going to end up with a very different Gears of War.

I might be wrong but the likes of Amazon have it down for August, so I'm going with that :shifty:

I think Black Tusk had been around for maybe a year or so? Originally their aim wad supposedly to make the next big AAA franchise to follow in the footsteps of Halo and Gears. Then they were announced as the new Gears Dev when they brought the franchise so maybe they never really got started on anything concrete?

They announced Gears so early I'd assume because Microsoft bought the rights to the series and guess couldn't hide that information.

Also, no fallout?

Beta MP doesn't really interest me. My wife will be very happy that I wouldn't get a XB1 this year then. :(

Black Tusk make car games I think so none of what they working on would be gears related.

They only working on gears for 4months now I think. Early days, its for 2016 as they need it in the gap when Halo isnt out.

Pretty sure they don't.

Its a relatively new studio, used to be Microsoft Vancouver.

Those 'unannounced title' slots, does that mean we could still get new game announcements or is it simply Microsoft have designated which game they'll be showing in that time slot? What odds of more announcements from Microsoft in general before the end of E3? It seems like despite having had their direct, Nintendo still have more stuff up their sleeve.

I doubt very much it'll be anything new.
