Geoff Keighley interviews Phil Spencer during the conference rehearsal. Keighley ask Spencer why gamers should buy an Xbone over a PS4. He basically says that it has the power of the cloud. Two quotes.
"Live innovation... It will allow us to do some things on a console that have never seen before."

This does look fun but I don't think that the game would be impossible without the power of the cloud.

* Call of Duty: We Want To Be Titanfall Too
* New track for Forza 5
* Forza Horizon 2 looks neat
* bunch of third party games we're probably going to be sick of by the end of the week
* Sunset Overdrive still looks like that it needs to be running at double the speed it currently is to be interesting
* Dance Central spoiling Photek's bet
* Conker will be a DLC character in Project Spark, cue horns.aiff
* bunch of indies, vast majority will also be on PS4 and/or PC
* Master Chief Collection, asking the question "who really wants to play these old games again"
* remake of an Xbox 1 game nobody cares about
* Platinum's How to Donte Your Dragon
* Crackdown (3? Remake? Dunno)

Megatons rating: one stick of dynamite. It would have been three had ntkrnl (and Microsoft) not spoiled all the good bits months ago. At least they've got three exclusives now that I'm vaguely interested in.

Can we ban him?

No.

His posts make me laugh. Watch him praise Sony, if they remaster any of their old games.

It was a okay show for me. Nothing to write home about but a) massively better than last year and b) there were lots of games and almost no TV. Could have done with a bit more gameplay/less of the CG-like trailers for the new game announcements too.

I did that years ago. Go me 8-)

I am baffled as to why people are so excited for this. It's good value for those that haven't played any of the games, but it's hardly a big selling point for those who have followed the Halo series since its inception.

100 multiplayer maps in one game? I mean I'm no Halo fan but tha's pretty good. Not console seller good but a worthy upgrade all the same.

Well, it's obviously going to be the definitive version of Halo. Well, until 5 gets a release anyway.

It is clearly very good value, but it's all stuff we have played before. In Halo 3 and 4's case, they are games we have played before and fairly recently too.

Halo 2 Anniversary is a an odd package, as the single player was so awful, but the multiplayer was great.

Maybe it is just me, as I am largely not fussed by an HD Collection. They were passable when they were updates of games from about ten years ago, but I hope we don't see loads of 360/PS3 titles re-released.

Too late I'm afraid. :(

The same rule will be applied to all the other conferences. Please don't try and spoil E3 for others.

Can someone please PM me or post a catchup link in the OP as I have only been back 20 mins and have yet to watch the show.

Cheers

It was rather predictable. But sadly most E3 conferences are nowadays with all these leaks.

I think the only people genuinely excited by this are hard-core XBOX and Halo fans. I don't think this is a system seller because anyone really interested in this franchise would be buying an XBO anyway.

Didn't think much of it either. Colourful is one word for it, obnoxious is another.

You'd have a boost button for those who played the game long enough to get half-decent at it or some aiming assistance, tons of ways to get around it.

I personally think it looks way too slow, especially when grinding. Would be a lot of fun with a bit more speed, doesn't feel right grinding so slowly, he'd just fall off!

I'll get it anyway, 8 player co-op :)
