I've put in entire long weekends with 4 or 5 hour stretches of just working out decent bus routes with places where they can interchange with other bus routes and the underground.

I'm rubbish at puzzles so it's bloody hard when you have a decent sized city to configure it so you don't end up with busmageddan.

My bus routes got strawberry floated when I added a train station. Traffic was a nightmare also. Might go back to it tonight.

Oh, and WTF is going on with my funeral hearses letting bodies near the funeral home rot and going to the other side of town to get a different stiff!?

Wait, you play with infinite money? GTFO!

I switched in on, couldn't figure out what the hell to do and switched it off. I am not a build things type of gamer and there seem a lot of games with that mechanic at the moment. I am giving my money for someone else to build the game not me.

Playing Homefront instead. It is basically a Far Cry game with less to do in a smaller space, but I don't mind it.

Really enjoying Homefront. Would never have bought it going by reviews (most of which mark it down over major bugs which I believe have been ironed out)

It's xbox one X enhanced and the lighting is jaw dropping at times.

I picked up Homefront Revolution at launch... haven't played much of it beyond the opening half-hour but I liked it. It got hammered in some reviews and that seemed really harsh. I will get back to it at some point!

At launch (and for the next 6 months or so) it had serious framerate issues. Basically it ran in the low 20s for a lot of the time.

That eventually did get mostly fixed on base hardware though.

I think I downloaded and played the demo for Homefront on 360... reminded me of the PS3's awful Resistance series. It's the modern day one with aliens right?

No, its the one where the US is occupied by a united Korea. I think Revolution was a reimagining of the story rather than a sequel.

Thanks! Not sure what game I'm thinking of so I might give this one a go then.

Those screenshots certainly make the game look better than on my TV. I don't know it is my age, but the text in games is tiny now. I have to stand up sometimes and walk to my TV to read it, but then it is a 10 year old 32 incher. Still can't justify replacing it as it does the job.

It's not just you. Text in games is still an area where even experienced developers are absolutely clueless. God of War's just had a title update to increase the font size because people complained it was too small. It's utterly baffling how thick some companies can be about this sort of thing. Compare the *standard* subtitle size to the text in something like the older Assassin's Creed games or Battlefront 2. Shambolic.

Seriously, don't they have a single seat in their entire office that's a regular distance from a television? It isn't hard.

Tons of stuff leaving at the end of May.

Age Of Booty
SVC: Alex Kidd & Co
Bionic Commando Rearmed 2
Bioshock
Bioshock 2
Bioshock Infinite
Blood Bowl 2
Borderlands
Bound By Flame
De Blob 2
Dead Rising 2: Case Zero
Defense Grid 2
Dig Dug
Final Fight Double Impact
NeoGeo Battle Collisuem
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Pac Man Championship DX
Sacred 3
Soul Calibur
XCOM Enemy Within

Guess they're clearing the dead wood in preparation for some E3 goodness.

An additional four titles have been scheduled for removal at the end of May, bringing the total to 25. :(

Mad Max
Lego Batman
Sam & Max Beyond Time And Space
Sam & Max Save The World

I'd say Mad Max is a shoe-in for an upcoming Game With Gold.

Sad Mad Max is gone, it's pretty decent.

The timing of all of this is kinda odd with E3 coming. I'm now expecting a newly announced game to be also be in game pass by presentations end.

So I'm guessing when one leaves that's it you can't even carry on playing it till you purchase it or it hits GWG? Not bothered about Mad Max as it was a PS Plus title and I own it on Steam but just so I know about other Game Pass games I currently have downloaded (ROTTR, Sunset Overdrive, Halo 5)

They must have quite the haul of games to announce for the service.
I'm quietly optimistic.
