I'm enjoying Evil West.
It's a solid 8/10 type game which is perfect for gamepass

Thought I'd give Diablo IV a go but of course it requiring the Battle.net launcher means it's now impossible to play via my longstanding Xbox account, since my Game Pass subscription is set up via a separate Microsoft account and the Xbox app automatically linked the non-paying account to Battle.net, as that's the account I actually use to play with. It's not something that I can correct for a full 365 days!

I had the same issue with EA Play and in the end I had to create a new EA account just for Game Pass/EA Play games. I really don't think I can be bothered to do the same just for Diablo.

This is surely a routine issue for families where a parent has set up a Game Pass subscription for their child isn't it? It's really annoying!

I've not had quite the same issue as I'm new to Gamepass, but holy strawberry float Battle.net is a glitchy, crashing demanding mess.

I've actually quite enjoyed what I've managed to play of Diablo so far, but I've had to reinstall Battle.net, and therefore the entire game, twice already. What an absolute state. If it strawberry floats up again I'm deleting it forever.

I finished it.

It was okay and I see why you thought it was a bit bland.

Visually it was pretty though.

Bit rubbish that Phantom Abyss is going. I know it's been available for ages, but it only left early access in January.

Harry Haddock looks great, and that Botany Manor sounds intriguing, if a little like an off brand Strange Horticulture.

But yeah, not the most well rounded line up all told. Especially as I have already played 2 of them when they were on GP a few years ago (I think SOTTR was the first "big" Game Pass game I played and completed).

I tried a bit of Botany Manor and it reminds me of The Witness in some way.

Also, the achievements do not pop up to notify?

Edge 5 for Harold Halibut. Hope it doesn't turn out to be a flop.

Botany Manor is excellent. Exactly what I hoped it would be (if a little bit short, by the progress I've made so far). It's kind of a laid-back puzzle/detective thing. Objective is to grow each plant and complete your herbarium book. You have to search the manor for clues about each plant, put the right clues together in the book, then use the clues in practice to actually grow the plant. Very satisfying when it all comes together. It's broken down into sections to make it manageable and stress-free. Love it.

Glad people are enjoying it, but what you've described is exactly the type of game I don't get along with.

New Game drops for next 2 weeks should be announced at 2pm today.

Completed the fourth chapter (of five) last night. It's brilliant. Some really nice puzzling (without being too obscure). Favourite moment so far was finding, and then later realising the relevance of, the rusty pig!

The volume of clues is initially a bit overwhelming; then they slot into place for certain plants, narrowing down the field for the others - very neat.

I think I've just started chapter 4 having done the wind tower flower.

Only real criticism I have is you can't re read clues from.yoir clue book. It's all very well assigning them to a flower but if I want to work out how to make it bloom then I have to look up where that clue came from in the description, then walk to find it again.

Yeah, that can be a little annoying. I've started taking screenshots of things I know I'll need to refer back to.
