It's a vicious circle that could have been nipped in the bud but it's too late now.
The increase of Islam will only mean that sooner or later they might be able to effect changes of a questionable nature purely by democratic means. The non-Muslims will respond by getting militant themselves, as they see their homeland overtaken by a fundamentally backward bigoted belief system.
I honestly can't see any other way out of this.
A civil war over Islamic fundamentalism. Never ever going to happen. And where do you get the idea that all Muslims are potential bombers in the making? There are much more important things to be worrying about than how many Muslim people are arriving in the country, the changes that the crash in the global economy will make for one.
