You need to do some kind of exercise before bed, maybe a little night swimming or some gardening at night.

Maybe try some form of meditation as from what I know it should solve the problem.
Avoid caffeine late in the day and maybe try reading before bed?

The most annoying part is I actually like REM and know this song which for me is pretty unique as the only time I normally listen to music is at work and that's either shitty rap music which I hate or there's a guy who loves heavy metal and for some unknown reason sea shanties and pirate songs which I admit is kind of fun.
