My Xbox has the RED LIGHTS OF DEATH.

All but the top right quadrant are lit up like a christmas tree.

But, bizarrely... only when it shuts down, and the PSU light is green. Judging by the Box's rep, I assume this is an early stage of console death.

So talk me through the preperations imma need to make in advance, Grcadians.

2nd question. Whatever happened to the Xbox Classics? I can't download Fable 1 for some reason.

Q1. Phone up MS, explain the problem and then they'll walk you through it all. You'll need a box big enough to hold the 360 and some decent tape for the shipping label they'll send out. You just need to send the 360 unless they say otherwise.

Q2. If you've downloaded it before it'll be in your download history so try from there. If not then try going into game marketplace, select all titles and it should be in there.

'Tis surreal - trying to download stuff from the Xbox website isn't working, even though I've transferred the licences to the new Xbox. It's fine from the actual console, though... and Fable for some reason was outright telling me that it wasn't available anymore, though once again, perfectly fine from the console. I assume it'll sort itself out in a few days or so at the moment.

Had the same problem myself. Tried to buy KOF98 off the website, transaction went through fine and switched my 360 on to let it download. Went to active downloads and it said it couldn't download it because it was registered to another console, clicked on it, told it to resume and all was fine.
