Why am I thinking about this seven years later? :fp:

Verdict: Each Side Asshole

I like to think he learnt from the experience and went on to become an all round better class of Gregg, ultimately culminating in National Treasure status.

I dunno, if some anonymous bloke was asking for my help and couldn't even bother to spell my name right, I'd be peeved.

Jesus has managed to stay in the news for 2k years so I don't see why Gregg can't manage at least 10k years.

Especially when the correct spelling of his name is in his Twitter username. A customer once misspelled my name in an email which was odd when my email address is my name and the customer and I have the same name.

I get called 'Kelvin' with such alarming regularity that, given that I've literally never encountered a Kelvin in the world ever and have been my own personal Kevin for nigh on 35 years now, I have to assume that not calling me by the actual name that I just introduced myself as is rude as strawberry float.

Now if I'm a famous person who you're asking for help and you still can't be strawberry floated to check what my name is then you can kindly go do one.

I'm not necessarily saying that Gregggggg handled it well or that the world famous actor who played 'Publican 3 in 'The World's End'' is necessarily in the wrong for calling him out, but if you're gonna ask someone for help then get their strawberry floating name right.

There's a girl at work (calm down, Kelvin) called Georgia. More often than not, she gets email replies calling her "Georgina".

Ask Orangina if she'll sponsor my fun run.

Gregg Wallace is a genius. If he had just retweeted the fundraiser it would have been forgotten in days - instead we're still talking about it 2 years later. Now that's a signal boost 8-)

Sounds like being called Kelvin raises your temperature.

I hate whenever people get angry over misspelled or mispronounced names. Everyone in continental Europe calls me by the wrong name as it isn't a common one abroad, who gives a gooseberry fool? Get over yourself.
