Need a Photoshop/design hand - Now with added brief!

Alright.

I'm working on something pretty good for a Secret Santa we're doing over here, but to really set it apart I need to make a CD cover. I totally cannot do this so would appreciate if anyone woud spend 20 mins knocking one up for me. I will reward your efforts with a £5 game once the Steam crimbo sale rolls around. x

EDIT: Basically, I stumbled across a Phoenix Wright fanfiction that my mate wrote when he was 15. I'm turning it into an audiobook for his Secret Santa, and would love a nice looking cover.

The title is "Phoenix Wright: Lifeless". I was thinking maybe some black and white close up of Phoenix from this picture;

The background can be whatever you think looks good. I know vague briefs are the scourge of the designer, so sorry!

Hopefully will get a few legit responses among the joke ones.

Yeah, but it's so specific that I don't want whoever this is finding it by a random google search. That said, I think I will take your advice (shock horror, etc).

EDIT: Also, it's set after the second case of the first game, so only Maya Edgeworth and Gumshoe are the only characters in it, really, if you wanted to put them somewhere (like on the back if you felt that way inclined... :shifty:

Sorry I don't have any Photoshop skills but I think that is a great and unique gift idea. Especially if it is something he is/was proud of.

I had a go at something basic for what I presume would be a cd cover/jewel case. I sent you a copy via PM but im not getting any response doing it that way. I'm not sure if this is even close to the brief either...

Here is my effort -

If you decide to use it then obviously that text on the back cover is placeholder and can be changed. I also wasn't sure if it was just you doing the recording so if multiple people are involved then I can give them credit on the front as well. Any other necessary changes or additions (eg. nudity and questionable fan art)can be posted here or sent to me in another private message.
