Need for Speed (PS4, Xbone, PC) - Reviews out

I reckon they'll just call it Need for Speed, following the trend of making new games with the name of the original; totally messing up search terms and game cataloguing.

I also hope it moves away from running away from cops all the time, it gets boring as hell. In games like Hot Pursuit and rivals i just mainline the cops as its a lot more fun to pursue than be the pursued, at least for me.

I suppose they're simply calling it "Need for Speed" to tie in with the upcoming Aaron Paul movie.

Upcoming? The film came out last year.

The title does use the same logo though...

If its actually Underground 3 Ill probably be interested.

Ive been reading Speedhunters for years though and had no idea it was tied to EA. Id seen it on the DLC pack for Shift or something years ago, but I didnt know it was "EA's own".

What is very intriguing to me is that the images seem to portray a Rauh-Welt Porsche and a Rocket Bunny 180SX, so this could be very close to being totally up my street.

Official tie-ins perhaps?

I've no idea about cars or what that means, but those two pics look ace.

To be honest, I'm a little unsure about a return to the "car modding" stuff as I favoured the original and later games in the series rather than all that Underground business. But, hey, I'm totally on-board for seeing a new NFS... I prefer arcade racers to the serious stuff :datass:
