I've seen the odd episode as my dad occasionally watched it during the early 90's but back then I simply wasn't interested in sci-fi stuff.

I remember seeing an episode where a certain crew member gets killed I think it was Yar but I've no idea which season it was.

Lieutenant Yar (blonde) being killed off was the single worst thing the show ever did!

Nah, she was pretty naff really. Having her and Worf was pretty pointless, the show needed just one of them and Worf was the better character.

Stealth Star Trek thread :shifty:

The Inner Light is one of my favourite episodes of any TV show ever. Other favourites are Tapestry and Darmok.

6 episodes in and despite the slightly dated fx and horrible 4:3 screen ratio I'm enjoying it far more than I expected.

Also, god damn, Deanna Troi is/was smoking hot (she probably isn't now though).

The only good bit of Insurrection is Deanna talking with Beverly about her boobs :datass:

Very well paced, composed and pitched Season 3. Felt like a part B to S2 really.

I see there is a "special interest" section on netflix, where the strawberry float was that hiding?

I recommend Roadkill in that section, it's about 2 car guys and their hijinks, think topgear except these guys know how to actually fix cars.

While you lot watch that I will be watching the train ride Bergen to Oslo, I will be back in 7 hours. Oh gooseberry fool it actually has subtitles.

It seems to have the Joy of painting season 1 with Bob Ross.

They warned this was coming some time back. I think you can still keep the old price if you are happy with SD.

Disappointed at the way Narcos has decided to veer away reality in episode 4. I can sort of see why they did it but I'd rather they stuck with what happened as I don't feel like the story needs artificial drama added to it.

That said what they did is effective.

Haven't checked this thread in a while, but I was talking to some people and they mentioned they are watching US Netflix outside the US. Anyone know of any decent sites that can change VPN? Italian Netflix is as gooseberry fool as UK but my gf persists on us paying for it. I thought it was all blocked now.

I've heard that in their contract with Sony, Netflix have to do something every 2 weeks to prevent content being watched in regions where it is not licensed. I don't think anyone has a solution to this.
RIP watching stuff from other regions.
