Wanted to watch some of the DC Animated movies and Canada isn't working :(

E-mailed to see if there is a work around, won't cancel immediately as want to give them a chance.

I mailed them and they sent me their alternate DNS servers, but I still get the "You are using a proxy" error.
They suggested removing their DNS entirely as well and using Netflix like that for a few minutes, then re-sending their DNS, which I haven't tried yet, but I suspect my account has been tagged so no DNS method is going to work. Sounds like even VPNs won't work either.

I share my Netflix account with a friend in America, will have to ask her if it still works actually from the US or not.

Been away a couple of days, so this is rather annoying. Will watch the Netflix produced shows I want then cancel as strawberry float off am I paying for Italian Netflix. Still better than the UK one though but that's not saying much.

I wonder if people will cancel in large numbers.

I assume there isn't any other way around this for the time being anyway.

Netflix have played this well. At the start when content was limited, accessing other regions kept customers. Now they have a lot of their own content most customers who used to access the other regions will moan a bit, but continue subscribing. It is disappointing, but given the choice of Netflix UK or nothing, I'd rather continue my subscription.

I bet the number of people using VPNs was pretty small in the grand scheme of things.

Probably, but I told everyone I knew with Netflix about Unblockus (about 4 people in real life) so I expect Unblockus' will have a bad couple of quarters.

Well, guess I've gotta go sail the high seas to watch Better Call Saul now, along with anything like Horrible Histories et all.

strawberry float sake. I was just about to start into Saul as well, and PlayStation Vue doesn't have episodes 1-4 available.

It's shitty but there's no point in getting mad at Netflix about it, I assume they are under pressure from the networks who make lots of money from selling the rights to different markets and don't like the idea of the price being undermined by the fact that you can watch anything on Netflix in all markets so long as they purchase the rights in one.

Which is inaccessible from the U.S. now that Netflix is blocking the unblockers. I can view the show lists and such, but playing won't work.

Why do you still have a UK Netflix account when you live in the U.S.?

That's what I have! And they only have season 1 of BCS on it.

It does, but only got it recently and probably won't get season 2 until 2017.

How has US Netflix not got a Netflix Original series?
