Just finished watching this and holy gooseberry fool it was amazing, had little in the way of expectations going in so I was shocked how well written and animated it is!

Can't recommend it enough, it's only four episodes so it's a quick sit but it has me desperate for the second season

Well Castlevania was great, shame it was only 4 episodes. Can't wait for more.

Not liking Castlevania very much after the first episode. Was honestly expecting better writing with Warren Ellis at the helm, but all I know him from is Transmetropolitan and that was ages ago.
If it doesn't dramatically improve in the next three episodes then at least I get to laugh at how bad it is.

I was expecting better animation, I mean the designs are fine but the motion isn't very smooth a lot of the time.

Still, happy to see an adaptation of one of my favourite gaming series.

I thought it was pretty great and watched it in one sitting.

I felt it needed more episodes to establish the main characters. They kind of rushed it a bit and threw them altogether in the last episode to try and quickly set up the premise going forward.

My word, Castlevania is a bit brief  Brilliant though, watched it in one.

The Breakfast Club - my second favorite movie of all time, the greatest teen movie ever and words can't describe it's perfection. Is now on Netflix.

Just so so good.

Also if you have seen Spider-Man Homecoming you can see how Michelle is a tribute to Ally Sheedy's Alison.

Wish my image sig would work

John Hughes made some amazing movies. Breakfast Club, Ferris Bueller, Pretty in Pink, Uncle Buck and Some kind of Wonderful (my own personal favourite) is an immense back catalogue.

That strawberry floatin' guy; made this flick "Sixteen Candles". Not bad; there's tits in it but no bush, but Ebert over here don't give a gooseberry fool about that kinda thing since he's all in love with this John Hughes guy. Lines up to go to every one of his strawberry floatin' movies. strawberry floatin' "Breakfast Club", where all these stupid kids actually show up for detention. strawberry floatin' "Weird Science", where this babe wants to take her gear off and get down, but, oh no, she don't 'cause it's a PG movie. And strawberry floatin' "Pretty In Pink", which I can't even watch with this tubby bitch anymore, 'cause every time the part comes up where the redhead hooks up with her dream guy, he starts sobbing like a little bitch with a skinned knee and gooseberry fool, and there's nothin' worse than hearin' a strawberry floatin' fat man weep.

I hope they crack on with it because I was very impressed.
Kinda agree about the animation comment, but the Englishness of it was frequently funny. The main guy is a pure ledge.

I only got round to watching this a few years ago and thought it was massively overrated. I think had I seen it at the cinema when it was released I would have enjoyed it more. I did like Pretty in Pink though (although I watched that 20 odd years ago).

Yes?

Big Fish - 10/10. One of my all time favourite films, I think. Genuinely love it.
