Gonna start it soon.

Also anyone tried the new Netflix feature film? About African child soldiers . Can't remember the name.

Beasts of No Nation?

I was thinking of watching it on Friday night but then decided I didn't want to watch something that was likely to depress me. It doesn't sound like it will be a lot of fun.

Basically Blood Diamond the TV series by the looks of it. But yes probably just a massively depressing way to spend a few hours.

A couple of shows for December 18th -

Netflix To Premiere ‘Making A Murderer’ Documentary Crime Series

Making A Murderer, a 10-part original documentary crime series from directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos, will premiere December 18 worldwide on Netflix.

Making A Murderer chronicles the story of Steven Avery, who spent 18 years in prison for rape and was freed after DNA linked another man to the crime. His release triggered major criminal justice reform legislation, and he filed a lawsuit that threatened to expose corruption in local law enforcement and award him millions of dollars. But in the midst of the civil case, he became the prime suspect in a murder, for which he was convicted and sentenced to life in prison.

“There are an unbelievable number of twists and turns in the story arc of Making A Murderer, it feels like it has to be fictional,” said Lisa Nishimura, Netflix VP of Original Documentary Programming. “Ricciardi and Demos have navigated very complex terrain and skillfully woven together an incredible series that leaves you feeling like you’re right in the middle of the action.”

Making A Murderer examines allegations of police and prosecutorial misconduct, evidence tampering and witness coercion. The series looks at what went wrong in the first case and questions whether scientific advances and legislative reforms over the past three decades have gotten us any closer to delivering truth and justice in the system.

“If we had not been there to witness these events we would have trouble believing they actually occurred. Our goal has always been to share that experience with viewers. Our partnership with Netflix has allowed us to tell this story in a way that wouldn’t have been possible anywhere else,” said Ricciardi and Demos.

Making A Murderer is the latest project in Netflix’s slate of original documentary and docu-series programming, including the Oscar-nominated films The Square and Virunga as well as What Happened, Miss Simone?, Winter On Fire: Ukraine’s Fight For Freedom and Chef’s Table.

What is the majority view of Sense8? I'm 6 episodes in as my gf loved it so wanted to watch it again. But nothing has happened. From what I can tell it just seems to be some attempt to "break taboos". The transexual lesbian love affair (arguably the most annoying aspect of the show), the gay mexicans with the sex addict friend, the German guy who seems to spend the whole show naked. I don't actually see any point to the show so far. Unless it is the slowest burning show of all time then I don't think I can be bothered watching anymore. Most interesting storyline so far is probably Sun but even her story has become stale.

It has some moments that are good and funny but it seems like the kind of show a teenager would enjoy because it's "controversial" and a bit weird. The dialogue is also shocking at times. Could have been a lot better if the writers/creators knew a direction to take it in.

Finished iZombie last week. Hope Netflix gets the next series. Just started Under the Dome (series 2) yesterday. This is on France if anyone is remotely interested.

Are you asking if they releasing the whole season at once or are you asking if it is best to watch it once a week?

Choice is yours either way, the whole season will be available on release day.

John Wick is on Spanish Netflix (I didn't even know there was a Spanish one or that UnblockUs supported it).

Just noticed Star Wars Episode IV on Columbian Netflix :o

One thing to note. Whilst the audio is available in English, the opening space text at the beginning is in Spanish.

What do I need for Netflix 4K, and is it worth it?

I intend to buy a mid-range 4K TV in the sales, and then I'll upgrade to Netflix 4K for the £8.99 a month they have introduced.

I assume it's as simple as that, and that my Wii U will happily support Netflix 4K?
