I'm trying to figure out if I should just binge it on Saturday or string it out from tonight.
I'm trying not to binge it but I know I will once I've watched a couple of episodes.

Watched Mitchells Vs The Machines
It had quite a few plot holes but for what it was I thought it was amazing
One of the best 'family' films I've seen in years, and easily the most beautiful 3D animated film I've ever seen, absolutely stunning.
I thought the LGBT representation was cool but it feels like every token bit of representation is always two women. I can't remember the last piece of mainstream media I saw that had two gay men. Probably Sex Education actually.

GLAAD conduct a report every year on LGBT representation on US television and their latest report shows that, as has always been the case, the most common representation of LGBT characters is gay men. The split between LGBT men and women characters does now skew in favour of women (this only being a relatively recent change) but this is in keeping with the fact that more women than men identify as LGBT in the US now.
I don't know whether gay characters aren't being written as being with gay partners but I would guess that what you're mainly noticing is an improved representation of queer women in fiction.

Maybe I just consume media that's more likely to have gay women in it.
I just find that in video games especially (and often times family friendly stuff like this) gay men have very poor representation.
It just feels like gay women are a bit more socially acceptable

I find it so weird there's a Castlevania cartoon series on Netflix. I love (some of) the games, so maybe I should give it a try.
I've been taking a gander at Love, Death and Robots. A mixed bag, certainly!

Castlevania is legitimately an excellent show, stays relatively true to the source material but isn't afraid to do its own thing.
Its quite violent and dark too so definitely not for kids.

Bo Burnham's new special is incredible. The first couple of songs are a bit wank, like the White Woman's Instagram one, but the way it slowly spirals and gives you a really raw look into his mental state throughout the Pandemic was fascinating.
Welcome to the Internet is superb, and it's been playing nonstop in my head ever since. Not enough that I'll be changing my internet habits, mind.
