The Netflix Thread - US NETFLIX INSTRUCTIONS IN 1ST POST

Are we going to spam this thread with "my VPN no worky?" I think a lot of us are getting a bit over-reactive atm. on US Canada, I am absolutely loving "About a boy" tv series. 21 minutes of pure fun.

Just noticed they actually did finish season 2 in the end. It got cancelled about five episodes from the end so just stalled. Need to finish it off then!

It's relevant to the topic so why not? It'll be a good place for people to share fixes/alternatives when their current method stops working.

I was enjoying the most recent season of Suits on Canadian Netflix but for some daft reason they only have 10 episodes up and not the complete season.

That’s Netflix MO on Suits. It’s very annoying. I believe the 2nd half will be shown in the summer/autumn.

Which season is this? I remember the last one I watched being shorter, but didn't realise it was incomplete.

Can't remember but it's definitely missing episodes as I checked on Wikipedia.

Bad Neighbours and A million ways to die in the west are on Netherlands. However, something weird happened yesterday. On the 360, Bad Neighbours wasn't showing but on my son's tablet and my smart TV it was. We managed to watch it but during the credits, an error message popped up. When we quit and restarted Netflix, on trying to continue the film it said the content is not available in the US region. Dream is over etc.

Parks and Rec S7 is on Murican Netflix

It's free at the moment, but there's this great app i've come across called Smartflix. It's basically just all region Netflix on your desktop without any messing around.

Anyone have any issues watching other region's content yesterday? When I tried to watch "Person of Interest" on the US, I got the message that it was US content and not available in the UK. I retried it though and on the 3rd retry, it worked. The end is nigh etc

I am really gutted there wasn't a 3rd season of "About a Boy". NBC knows strawberry float all about good shows it seems.

It seems to be very region specific as to whether unblock-us works. I can get access to stuff in Australia, Brazil and some of the Scandinavian regions but US, Canada and Netherlands are not working at all. Thankfully I found Hannibal season 3 on Norway so I can at least finish that. The impression I get is that unblock-us will just hand out new DNS IPs to try and stay one step ahead of Netflix.

I finished season 2 last night. It was a decent enough series finale anyway. Not sure where they'd really go with it from there (wouldn't want a whole season of will they/won't they...)

hah yep it would have been that I think. 3 seasons would be have been the perfect length. Ah well. Onto Hannibal.

Pokemon XY has just gone up on UK Netflix.
