I've started that a couple of times, never gotten past the first few.

It seems Netflix has removed the star system and have a match % instead, nearly everything I look at is a 95% match or above. Odd.

Yep, and now you can only thumbs up or thumbs down something. No scale for things you like versus things you really liked.

I've just finished watching the first season of Van Helsing and while its definitely of questionable quality it held my interest enough for me to watch the whole thing in a few days.

Its surprisingly grim at times and has an interesting take on 'conventional' vampire lore, its definitely not the typical teen vampire drama.

Troll 2 is now on Netflix UK.

Essential viewing and beyond the words of mere mortals to describe it's glory. Always loved Troll but Troll 2 is stunning.

Also Magnificent 7 (2016) Been Hur (2016) have been added

Wish my image sig would work

Did anyone watch Dear White People? I saw the first 5 episodes over the weekend and like it a lot. First episode was a bit hit & miss (some dialogue was cringe to the max) but the second ep was excellent and it only got better from there. Episode 5  The characters are very well rounded, with some great performances. The theme of the show is not as cut and dry as you would assume form the title, either.

I see the racists are already down-voting it to all hell on Netflix, IMDb and everywhere else they can find. :fp: To be expected I guess in today's climate with a show title like that.

Do today's college students really use words like Bae in real-life, though? :dread: strawberry floating young people.

Finished Master Of None season 2 and it was really good with only 2 weakish episodes.

Really good show with some really great scenes that make you laugh a lot.

Got through Master of None way quicker than I expected. I really wanted to make it last. Those first few episodes are majestic though and the season as a whole is brilliant.
