Being more of the same, which looks to be the case, is no bad thing for Crackdown as it's always been pretty good fun. However, going on what has been shown so far technically it hasn't really moved on. Again though, not a huge deal as long as it plays well I guess. Might take a punt on PC when the price drops.

Wasn't this meant to be the big Xbox One X launch title?

Kinda, but it never showed off it's power, to be honest I thought it may be cancelled cos MS didn't seem happy with E3 response. There's actually too many games early next year.

They gonna push PUBG into its place, watch. :fp:

So MS have just Forza 7 and Halo Wars as their big 2017 games.

Next year is going to be mental, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, This, Halo 6, F Horizon 4.

Weird. I presume MS see X as best place to play third party which it will be but honestly, as I said back at E3, PUBG is what I want most, they gonna market the s*** out of it and it's a preview program game.

I think Sea of Thieves will be given time to come out late 2018, or one of them will be, I just think SoT's as stunning as it is in Alpha has a ton of stuff that has to go into it, I mean the list of stuff they are adding according to their podcasts is huge and everything will have to be tested.

I didn't think Crackdown 3 was running all that well plus maybe cloudgen are running into problems. State of Decay should be ok for early 2018 though.

Oh dear but I'm glad it's getting more time in the oven because it was looking rooooouuuuggghhh.

Edit: Sea of Thieves is next year too? Good grief

I do wonder what the legs on PUBG will be like, not on Xbox, just in general. I mean H1Z1 was a beast on steam until PUBG came along and still sometimes outsells PUBG in sales, and is regularly in the top 10. My point is, will PUBG be knocked off it's purch when the next battle royal game comes along?

Fingers crossed they'll have it looking better with time, I still think it had the core crackdown orb gameplay, maybe it needs more optimization, the Framerate looked really bad but couldnt tell if it was how it was captured as no one really mentioned it.

I've been buying a lot of 360 titles recently (games I'd previously owned, and games I never got around to trying). What's Crackdown 2 like? I quite enjoyed the first, but never took up the sequel.

It's the same game as first, same map too albeit altered a little and has zombie things. I liked it.

The 2nd game is, imo, inferior to the first, it also completely disregards the end of the first completely.

It's not as good as the first but its not as bad as people made out at the time. The clearing out of the infected was laborious but 4 player co-op meant the chaos was increased.

I wonder if its hard to have up to 4 different studios working on a single game?

Cloudgine, Ruffian, Reagent and Sumo Digital are doing this, maybe the extra time is to harmonize it all.
