I am looking forward to playing Jet Set Octo and 'Roc-man ;) .

I wrote a 2D platform game engine a few years back in Python, but didn't do anything with it. It's just been sitting there waiting to be ported to C++.

Playing Celeste has really inspired me to take it further. Maybe.

First things first: moving back to Lancashire. :toot:

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Weirdly, I can't remember noticing Gungeon was stirring before, but since going back to it last week after the update, I've noticed it a few times. I don't know if it's just me or if the update has made it less stable.

Screen tearing too. I noticed the same things in Stardew Valley and Vostok Inc. I can't speak for other consoles, but Unity on Switch is pretty poor IMO.

Stardew has paused and skipped since I bought it a few months ago. It's not a twitch platformer so it doesn't bother me, but I can see it being annoying with Gungeon.

Got the Crew 2 this weekend as it was discounted.
And for the most part it's a enjoyable racer, the planes and boats are really fun to use and the best way to get around, but the cars of the other hand handle more like tanks thanks to the awkward handling.
Story has change to something similar to Steep which is a shame cause I was quite a fan of the sort of Fast and Furious story line.

Online is a pain though as there's no one appearing in my lobby, I don't know whether it's my internet as I remember I had a similar problem with the original saying it was nat type ( my nat type is type 2) but it doesn't say whats the problem. Any Ideas?

Started Prey (PS4) yesterday. Only about an hour in but seems interesting so far. Didn't make a lot of progress because I spent some time looking for my office which is supposed to contain some DLC (a shotgun). Assumed this was going to be right at the start of the game but clearly it is further in. DLC was supposed to have a "use by" in May but tried the code and it still worked :)

Yes?

Rayman Legends (PC)

606/700 teensies now, my god this is wonderful  No idea why I didn't finish this on Wii U, it's such a joy of a game

Just a shame the 100% achievements requires some obscene grinding, going to get every teensy+trophy on every level and call it there

Great game. A really worthy follow up to Origins.

Aye! I finished Origins years ago on Vita, it'd been long enough that I was happy to revisit many of its levels again in Legends. Forgot how many SHMUP levels there were

I want to grab Origins on Steam now too, though not sure how much point there is having replayed much of it in Legends already.

I really need to play the recent Rayman games, fairly certain I have both on PC from one store or another but have never managed to fit them in.

I think the last time I played a Rayman game was back in the Gamecube days!

For my money, Origins and especially Legends are the best in the franchise! Maybe 2 following close behind, though I haven't played the original trilogy in years. Would love to revisit them, though it looks like the old PC versions of each have to be modded to hell and back to work on W10.

Especially recommend Origins + Legends on PC if you have access to a 1440p or 4k display, aside from a few lower res assets they surprisingly benefit a lot from it. Was a nice surprise as you don't always get that with 2D games, it helps that they have such gorgeous art direction too

Great Escape is still the best Rayman game and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise

Well you'll have to fight me as Legends is top-10-of-all-time tier good.

Any time of your choosing.

Hoodlum Havoc was the one I played on Gamecube, I don't think I ever played Great Escape. I enjoyed Hoodlum but it was a bit short.

I'm going to make Legends my next priority I think, anyone know if the Switch version is worth a shot? I heard it may have had some issues?

I loved the two recent raymans enough to play them to complication on both Sony and Microsoft systems... I have just started Skyrim on Xbox one despite having finished it 3 times on 360 , if I didn't replay games I love so much I'd finish a lot more games.
