Is that the one with poison air, weird zombie things and the casino heist? That DLC sucked. The cheesy sci-fi one (set on moon Base with robot think tank) was great though and I enjoyed the final one where you follow original courier of platinum chip (lonesome road?!)

Coming towards the end of Wolfenstein now, think I have about two chapters left. Everytime I think the game can't top itself it throws something new into the mix.

Nazi's not enough for you? Have some Nazi Zombies! Nazi Zombies not enough? Well now they're on fire! Flaming Nazi Zombies still not enough? Well now they're falling from the sky :slol:

So nice playing something that doesn't take itself too seriously, it's over the top and completely daft at times but it absolutely revels in it. I'll take 'old school' shooter mechanics, carrying plenty of weapons and having health/shield pickups, over recharging health and dual weapon slots any day of the week!

Yup, the very same. It's the flaws of this game magnified. I don't play these games for a linear, guided experience. I just want to walk around a map and find interesting stuff.

I haven't played it before, I have played the other one you were talking about on a previous playthrough and it is indeed great (Old World Blues). I haven't played The Lonesome Road yet.

Titanfall 2 - PS4

I borrowed a copy as I only really want to play through the singleplayer, which has thrown up some really interesting level design like the prefab factory/training zones. I think i'm about to get to the amazing bit everyone's talked about but so far its been an enjoyable and smooth-running experience.

I had a go at the multiplayer and after being met with a confusing mass of menus, unlocks and currencies I jumped into a match which fortunately was one from the first game. Scored a lucky titan kill but otherwise never saw another player coming before dying. I think i'l stick to overwatch for my multiplayer shooter fix as I do not feel any incentive to git gud/grind out unlocks and especially no desire to buy it on PC for mouse and keyboard controls either.

Oddly for me, have a few games on the go which probably means something will be abandoned. On the PS4, up to episode 2 of Life is Stange. Enjoying this more on the PS4 than when I played Episode 1 on the PC so I'm guessing this is purely down to the trophies. Also played a few games of Killing Floor 2 which although is quite good, I probably won't return to. June was probably the best month for PS4 on PSN IMO.

On the PC playing Left 4 Dead2 and Zombie Army Trilogy courtesy of the Steam sale. Was a bit pissed with Left 4 Dead 2 at first as I couldn't get my PS4 controller working. I've now managed that but after buying Zombie Army Trilogy today, probably won't return to L4D2 as I prefer Zombie Army.

Most of my gaming time in the past few weeks has been spent playing PES 2017 on PS4. Beyond that, I have finally dipped my toes back into Final Fantasy XIV Online on PS4. Man, it's so long since I've played that I have forgotten nearly everything  . I want to stick with it this time but there are a few basic aspects I'm stuck on... I think I'll need to seek out a couple of beginners guides on YouTube.

Oh, and I'm still joining in with the GRcade Mario Kart Monday racing sessions on the U :toot: .

Still plugging away at Dragon Warrior VII. I'm approaching the 80 hour mark and haven't really made any progress in the last 8 hours or so which has mostly been spent grinding class levels.

The boss I'm stuck on really doesn't fight fair. In my last attempt he put my party whole to sleep and poisoned them in the opening turn before I could even get any attacks in and my party all died from poison a few turns later all still asleep.

Assassins Creed 2 as part of the Ezio Collection on PS4.

Picked this up in the recent PSN deal of the week and loving AC2 all over again. I 1000 G'd this on 360 years ago (a very rare occurance) as I loved it way back then

Just opened up Venice so about half way through and it's everything I remember it to be. Love the Renaissance era setting.

Got Brotherhood and then Revelations too as part of this bundle so they should satiate my inner assassin. For now

Battlefield 1 campaign.

Oddly conflicted on this. It's by far the best Battlefield SP campaign but it's gone is all over the place. It tries to be reverent and respectful in its cutscenes, but the next moment your stoving heads in and fighting on top of a burning zeppelin. 6/10

State of Decay

Probably the best Romero-esque zombie game ever. Really captures the hopeless mood of those films, and well as the suddenly grisly deaths. 9/10

Wolfenstein The New Order

Playing this for the fourth time now. Between this and DOOM Bethesda have the singleplayer FPS market cornered. This is the best narrative shooter since Half Life 2, a genuinely heartfelt romp that's genuinely affecting, laugh out loud funny and it has Nazi robot dogs. A miracle of a balancing act. 10/10

Replaying Portal 2 on PC, played it years ago on the 360.

It looks very good and plays very well. Not that far into it, just met Glados.

I played it on PS3 and it's one of my all-time favourite games; terrific atmosphere, wonderful puzzles and pretty funny in places, too.

Portal 2 was one of my crowning glory moments as I completed the co-op on my own using 2 controllers at the same time! #Dextrous

One thing that I don't like in this game is how segmented it feels. I feel like I can only play it in short bursts.

But it truly is a wonderful bit of design apart from that. It throws a lot of gameplay mechanics at you, and I love that. They really improved on the original game.

Eeeeeeeh. I think I preferred the original just because of how concise it was, not to mention how surprising. The second one was great, but lacked that initial impact.

CoD: Infinite Warfare SP

Urgh, the utter humourlessness of these games really is something to behold. They're the Transformers of video-games without the hilarious racial stereotypes and overt sexism. Still, at least this one was trying to do something different, even if that thing is "poor Titanfall knockoff." It's fine. I enjoy the spectacle of it and I've a soft spot for games with home bases but it's still CoD at it's core.

Life is Strange

Bit of a change of pace from Wolfenstein but I thought it was about time I got round to playing this given all the fuss that has been made over it. The first episode was free so I played that to completion last night and I really enjoyed it, love the ability to rewind at points and the story and characters have my interest so far. It feels very similar to the Telltale games except the engine seems far less janky. Only thing I'm not liking so far is some of the dialogue, the 'teen slang' is cringeworthy, particularly the frequent use of the word 'hella' :dread: .

Still, enjoyed it enough to pick up the rest of it on Steam while it's on sale so will probably make a start on Episode 2 tonight.
