Yeah Ark is 40% off. It's tough going at the start but I should be able to find you and you can use a house and have you join tribe and then really we can play on and off forever really. Because it's all server based, when you log off your character goes 'asleep' on the ground but you're perpetually in the game. So for instance if I was offline and you went on, you'd find me and my mate asleep in our houses, my mate has a disease, not a big thing for you and I as you get rid of it when you level up but he's such a high level he has it AGES, it halfs all of your stats, if you touch him at all you get it.

I LOVED the Library on Halo remastered, not so much on the original, I think it just plays better, esp on the X1 at 60FPS.

EDIT -ARK:
A Yeti walked into me while I checked menu and it all kicked off, pity you can't hear the other lads, a scottish guy and a french lad screaming down mic!

Breezing through Uncharted 2 remaster on Crushing difficulty.

Dunno if it's me or the remaster. It seems to be more easier than I remembered on the PS3.

When fully upgraded the mine thrower becomes pretty good. The mine darts become heat seeking mine darts so you essentially have a gun that fires heat seeking missiles.

I did not know this. That sounds amazing. I think I will forego the Red 9 this time as well. That's usually my handgun of choice 100% of the time.

The dialogue in this game is really clever. I doubt it is actually intentional. But it reminds me of the way stuff like Predator and Commando are written. That emphasis on cheesy one liners.

Ark Survival Evolved got a huge update finally bringing resolution up to HD standard, you can now bring your characters to any server once you get to one of the obelisks, (no mean feat in some areas). Currently housed up in a nice wooden shack near a cliff face that's only a small run down to the beach to kill dodo's for food and hide.

I've witnessed a few flying folk about but ran into the trees to make sure they didn't see me as you can't trust anyone. Currently about 3 massive tribes are fighting (going by chat log) but I think they''re all off on other islands as nout out here, that said, found some nice metal and crystal area's. Very hard being a lone survivor tho, like REALLY hard as your place can be torn apart by anyone who own's a dino.

I'm hoping that ill be left alone long enough to make a stone base, I've already 3 shacks dotted about, I'm gonna make a fourth one in the middle of a forest which'll mean ill have to bring the wood from elsewhere to keep it well hidden, always good to have several area's to spawn to in case you get raided. I know a couple of the tribes leave new guys (to the server) alone but one is constantly raiding any new places, he's currently being attacked by other tribes for this.

As a social experiment it really is quite something, I've had lots of encounters with real people, most of which have seen me meet a grizzly end. During one encounter out hunting, about 5 guys on raptors spotted us in a field and started after us, I managed to hide behind some rocks but they caught my mate and drugged him up, dragged him back to their base and locked him up, he'd starve to death so they kept knocking him out with sleep darts and force feeding him. If he didn't die he'd have to stay there, if he picked a new character he'd start at level 1 again.

He only got out cos they all left him alone and he woke up to an empty base, he managed to punch out of his cell and jump outside but not after looting a ton of gooseberry fool, we spent WEEKS in exhile hiding about in forests, even a house boat. They finally found us but we hadn't much to give them so our deaths meant nothing. Eventually we had a saber tooth tiger and a raptor and found one of them out on his own, we chased him down and butchered the bastard, and we kept at that for a while, killing 1 if we seen him alone.

The very odd occasion people will just be nice to you and help by giving food and stuff. We had a very nice neighbour below a mountain we had big base on, everything was fine, we agreed to 'look after' each others base if seen others checking it out. While out hunting I noticed a flying dino was in his base and a guy was in his house looting it. I shot the flying dino and killed it, leaving the guy stuck in the base.

We got a warning of several guys gonna f*** us up on the text chat and sure enough 4 guys on raptors and another on a big dino arrived, in our base we had 2 houses, we ran into one an they started to knock it down, we also had a big wooden structure with 5 raptors in it, 3 of them very high levels. In Ark when you tame a raptor and someone attacks you it goes mental and kills the person who attacked you. Being only 2 of us, my mate took off all his gear and ran outside getting killed. they didn't know we had a bed in with the raptors so he spawned in there and broke down a wall, it was amazing, the big dino was taken down, 4 of the 5 were killed and although we lost most of our things, it was exhilarating. We packed up our stuff (as much as we could and headed north on 2 raptors making a make quck gaf before logging off. The next day we headed back to our base to find it completely destroyed but it was worth it. This game. :datass:

Isn't ARK a free game? That gooseberry fool sounds straight out of a movie lol.

I would have bunch of people to guide. I would destroy all newcomers and be the biggest bully in the game. Going to try download it tonight. Do you want to be in my gang you and your friends. You will have to bring me food and stuff every day though.

''Saying it's because I was controlling you and making you sad when actually I just asked you to wear some trousers''

Bloodborne

Ignored it as I wasn't into the Gothic theme but borrowed it off a mate and am loving it. Never played a Souls game before... Just got to Old Yharnam.

XCOM2

Haven't played this in a while but restarted it after realizing I hadn't actually tried the DLC yet.

Quick DLC review:

Anarchy's Children - Useless cosmetic items that look gooseberry fool.
Alien Hunters - Not bad but doesn't really fit with the game (aesthetically or naratively), the extra weapons are good but overpowered)
Shen's Last Gift - Good, the new unit class is useful and the storyline works well.

Just got three of my best soldiers killed (and lost their gear in the process) by getting too cocky during a mission, FFS.

Ark Has a 1 hour demo but it's not free. I'm on EU THE CENTER 721 if anyone's interested.

I don't know how I got so bad at Resident Evil 4, but I am dying all over the place. Just about to go down and fight the big cheese.

Finished Uncharted 2 Remastered on Crushing.

It is a lot more easier than I remember. I remember being frustated as hell while playing the PS3 version on hard.

Maybe they've kept the worst for Burtal difficulty. Not in the mood to play that difficulty at the moment.

Took a little while to click but I'm fully into Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor now. Don't really care about the story as I'm not a LotR fan, but the combat is satisfying as hell and I'm having a lot of fun just cruising round doing side missions, killing captains, and finding collectibles. I like that there aren't an exorbitant number of trinkets to find, nor a particularly overwhelming number of side missions, so I might even go for 100% completion on this.

Welcome to GRcade, Art! I've yet to try Shadow of Mordor but I know that quite a few other GRcadians have sung its praises.

Shadow of Mordor is awesome. Such a clever game and the personality of each enemy comes through. DLC is worth a look as it's very cheap and adds a few interesting bits.

Much like Mad Max, it was up there for game of the year contender when it was released despite no real expectations before it's release.

I'm currently playing Resident Evil 4. Enjoying the castle and upgrading my weapons. Ashley is less annoying than remembered. Forgot how amazing the sound is in this. Shotgun and it's suitably squishy head splats.

Wish my image sig would work

Batman Arkham Origins in PS3. Having played and enjoyed Asylum and City I saw this in town today for a few quid and thought I'd give it a go and I'm enjoying this far.

Last night was online only:

Halo 5
Action Sack: Fun but the 2 games we played where MANTIS Breakout (quite fun) and Tank World (4 scorpions on each team) which was good but VERY SLOW.
BTB: Got destroyed by a clan team so moved on to

Rocket League:
Brilliant fun, just class.

Rainbow 6 Siege:
Graphics seem to have been improved or I though they were rubbish in my head, either way had great fun.

Ark Survival Evolved
Checked if my gaf was still up and it was, killed a couple of dino's cooked em and ate them then back into gaf and logged off. Going to Skull Island tonight to mine for some metal.

Skull Island is on the Right here:

The Server I'm on is also the one I highlighted here
