So I was on GTA Online, and was just wondering around. I needed to do something on my phone, so quickly ran to the strip club as that was the nearest safe zone.
That was probably a bad idea as a few others of the lobby seemed to be discussing whether I was jacking off to GTA girls when I looked back at the screen.

Persona 3 FES. Haven't played this version of the game in years. I forgot how much cooler it is compared to P4. Granted I'm only a few hours into it but I'm liking the art direction/theming a lot more already.

Also slowly making my way through Doki Doki Literature Club again. I guess that's a game.

I'm going to make Legends my next priority I think, anyone know if the Switch version is worth a shot? I heard it may have had some issues?

It's up there with the greatest platformers of all time. It controls beautifully, looks and sounds gorgeous, and doesn't stop dishing out new surprises and twists to the end.

See: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013 ... nds-review

I like it so much in fact, that I should also say that I heard the switch edition had some niggles: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digi ... definitive

But also that these apparently were ironed out in in a patch update.

Anyhow the game proper is an embarrassment of good ideas polished to (near) perfection.

And that's what I found on the matter :D

Playing Ass Creed Rogue, which is just typical Ass Creed. I like it well enough, feels like an extension of Black Flag, only with worse characters.

Also playing a bit of that Call of Juarez - Gunslinger. This is a really solid game. I like the narrative and the way the secret collectables tell you about Western history. More games with a setting in the past need to do this.

I got it and it’s definitely worth getting, £20 was a steal!

I agree, so much fun. Highly recommended you finish it. It's not without problems but a great game.

As for Ass Rogue I got it for the PS4 on launch and can't bring myself to even start it despite being a fan of the series. I just can't face a game right now that's going to take me 50 hours to finish.

As for my games played at the moment it's all about Yoku's Island Express on the Switch. Current completion sitting at 47 % and it's getting a bit harder but I love this game so much. It's so charming, the music is great and matches the areas so well. It may well be my GOTY so far. I had to go to Kwik Fit earlier so took the Switch me. I got home and continued right where I left off. If there was a god he'd bless the Switch for this.

I haven't played Legends yet (got it for free on PSN+), but Rayman games of yore were decidedly average and highly derivative. Nevertheless the high point of Michel Ancel's career thus far!

I'm sure there are those who would disagree, but I don't care. I'm feeling wanton.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Been going through the Crew 2 and I'm really starting to enjoy it, the game feels very similar to Steep which is good.

Rayman 2: The Great Escape is, without question, the most impressive feat of game design and execution the platforming genre has ever seen. Forget Mario. Forget Banjo. And don't even think about Crash. This is the next evolution in gaming, and it has never looked or played better than it does on your Dreamcast.

IGN? Pfft! I certainly wasn't thinking about Crash anyway. That's even worse. Loved only by deranged fanboys on a nostalgia trip.

I'm pulling no punches today. BAM. :datass:

But you know, if you like it, I won't call you for it. I'm not a monster.

Had a rare moment today where I was starting to believe that I suck at this game. It took me almost two hours to complete one of the caves on level 2, I just kept screwing up and losing too many pikmin which meant reloading that sub-level. Got to the end and finished it eventually with 50-odd pikmin intact.

The game is always fun though, I think I've exceeded 10 hours on the clock and I'm also well on the way to fulfilling the monetary target.

The last time I posted in this forum, or its predecessor, I would have listed a game that game out within the last few weeks. The intervening years have added a few life distractions, but I'm still a gamer through and through.

Currently playing: Mass Effect Andromeda. I'm enjoying it, but the huge open-world alien landscapes aren't as enjoyable to run around as the original trilogy's slightly more linear, but tighter, environments.

Playing Prey on Normal difficulty and finding it really hard. The enemies just seem to kill me too easily. Is this going to get any easier or am I going to have to set the difficulty to easy? Getting a bit fed up because progression is too difficult.

Yes?

Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion on Switch is a decent game at it's core; a simple RPG that captures the spirit of AT. But, good grief, the loading times! I don't know if it's decompressing game data on the fly or something, but it is a bit frustrating. I like AT and so I can kinda overlook it but, man, I hope that a "go faster" patch arrives.

The Adventure Pals - Nintendo Switch

Now this is a charming game, neat little platformer with RPG-lite mechanics, art style and humour reminds me of Adventure Time. Only done the first world so far but it’s on sale on the Switch store right now and would recommend it to anyone looking for a platformer to chill out with.
