I finished season 2 of The Walking Dead on Xmas eve, weirdly I started it on Xmas eve 2013 and finished it Xmas Eve this year.

I enjoyed it, but I stopped caring about what decisions I'd make as the story balances it out anyway.

Brilliant game and completed it on the 3ds, which really controls superbly. Simply cannot wait for majoras mask and finally complete that!

Got lbw for xmas, so will start that, but really want to get that new 3ds to play it on!

Just beat the water temple now so I've got 2 temples left! Such a good game!

Oh yes it is! Don't rush this genius game and get the extra hearts/ bottles etc before you get near the end. Enjoy!

Child of Light - bought this in the Wii U eShop sale and played for around an hour. Good art, interesting battle system, awful writing.

Just had a go on Gods Will Be Watching. Not great but definitely interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing what it has to offer. The first mission was good but I did find it a bit frustrating until I finally began to get the hang of what I was supposed to do.

The second mission, the torture room, is much better. Really tense but, again, I imagine it could become frustrating if I fail too many times.

Dragon Age: Inquisition.
I'm still at the very early stages but so far it's been pretty great and a return to what made me love the series with the first game. The gameplay is solid and the character upgrades and items are pretty good. I've not bothered keeping tabs on the story to be fair apart from the basics but from what little I have taken not of makes Destiny's story look like the putrid turd it is.

So far a solid 9/10.

Captain Toad, Super Smash Bros, Skylanders Trap Team and Dragon Age have been getting a good workout already.

Skylanders' gimmick isn't as good as last year's Swap Force, but being able to trap your enemies has raised a lot of laughs already, it's really cool hearing them chat away to you from the vault, nice wee trick.

Captain Toad is all kinds of lovely, really enjoying it already :)

Captain Toad, lovely little game. The perfect Christmas game.

Started The Walking Dead S2 as well. This is like crack to me. Started it this morning and I'm already on Episode 3.

Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

Only played two hours so far but I really like what I've seen, reminds me of early Saturn/PS1 era RPGs.

Picked up Capt Toad today, and had a little play just now. Lots of fun.

We bought my daughter an electric guitar for Christmas, and my wife bought me Rocksmith 2014. I'm pretty good at Rock Band, so we figured it would be a good way for me to move on to the real thing. It's a lot of fun and I'm not doing too badly so far.

Captain Toad, started playing Xmas Day off and on and have
completed Book 1, 2 and 3 and am 3/4 Levels from completing Bonus.
I have completed all levels with 3 Stars and Challenges thus far and it has been an excellent experience from start to finish, so addictive.

I hope they add extra levels via DLC or Amiibo, I just  this game.

Love how it is a Prequel to
Super Mario 3D World
too, cool little cinema when you get that far.

Toad getting stuck in the pipe was hilarious. The game is so cute.

Just finished Wind waker HD. 44 hours in total, which I'm sure is longer than it took me on the GC. I really did cherish it this time through though. I think its my favourite game ever.

I've been putting in the time to wade through The Evil Within (PC version). It's a tough, tough game, even on 'casual'. I can't help but feel the game itself takes a strange delight in trolling the player almost continuously. I admit I've invoked 'God Mode' (via the dev console) more than once - but this won't help against most of the bosses and some of the standard enemy AI types. Scripted deaths also still occur (traps, etc).

Still, it has allowed me to reach the dizzy heights of halfway through Chapter 11. I'd never have gotten here using normal means. Stuck at the moment, though, due to

godawful underwater zombie thing always catching me before I can make it to dry land

...but I've come so far and seen so much of the game I'm going to try and get past it and finish the damn thing. Just might take a while. :dread:

Last of Us Remastered on PS4

One of the best games I have EVER played - currently just started the FALL section and am loving every single minute of this epic adventure.

I must admit I was expecting this game to end a lot quicker due to the sheer scale and quality of the game. Everything is just so detailed and needs to be searched - you owe it to the developers not to rush through this epic.

I get memories of Shenmue, Half Life 2, Red Dead Redemption and a bit of Uncharted when playing through this game. I am so glad I waited to play this on the PS4 and even more that I haven't rushed through it. The official gold headset also provides an immersiveness that I have not felt in a videogame before.

One of my favourite games of all time and I am not at the end yet. One I will certainly replay again and again and am cherishing every moment in it so far!

The quantity and quality of the game is really shocking to me - Naughty Dog have now created two unbeatable franchises, with this pipping Uncharted imo. I urge all gamers who have not played this to at least get a PS3 and play it through.

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare - Maybe the original was perfect and couldn't be improved upon as it was but I had no idea this was a TPS of sorts :fp: I was so thrown by that, that I couldn't play much of it before wishing I could play it as the original played and then turning it off. I'll give it another go later, but right now I wish I'd picked something else to kill five minutes with.

Kirby's Epic Yarn. Woah, this game is seriously good. I totally dismissed it before.

Shadow Warrior on PS4. Got this for Christmas from my brother. A couple of levels in and it's okay but nothing special. I wouldn't have bought it myself however and as such once I'm done it's getting traded... also I do realise part-exing a gift may seem a little harsh but it wouldn't be the first time :D

I wish I was in the position to go through the Spirit Temple again for the first time. It's absolutely glorious.
