Felt like a change from modern Gaming so I decided to start this, I played a little of it years back (which I liked) but I thought I'd have a go at playing through it. So far I'm a decent way in and I'm really enjoying it, it looks surprisingly nice for a 15 year old 3D game and the gameplay is lovely and smooth. It's a little simplistic, mission structures are generally very basic and so far not particularly difficult but it is entertaining enough and has some great call backs to the show.

It's that fun type of licensed game where you can tell the people who made it adore the source material. I'd love to revisit it sometime, apparently runs pretty well in Dolphin

Been giving Metal Gear Survive a go and I'm a few hours in so far and it's actually pretty decent, Metal Gear it ain't but it's a fun if slightly annoying survival game.

Cities Skylines has been updated to version 3.00, and with it is a free piece of DLC called Match Day which among with a couple of other extras, brings with it a fully functioning footie stadium!

The update also seems to have fixed some of the stuttering/crashing issues which were affecting larger cities too.

Still FFXV. I'm in deep now; spent last night watching the anime and movie. Both were pretty, pretty bad but the movie earns extra points for being set in a completely different fictional universe. Apparently.

The game is still fun though, even if the main quest has dissolved into multiple fetch quests.

Single player games I'm still working through Night in the Woods and Dishonoured 2. I'm hoping they end pretty soon, I've fallen off NitW pretty hard after initially really enjoying it. The main character has become very annoying and bits of the story are a bit try hard. Dishonoured 2 is great but I hate the clock work soldiers and unfortunately they have returned. I know it makes games a bit easy but I wish there was a way to mark targets as it's a bit trial and error.

Online I'm still obsessed with CoD:WW2. I have a few games I'd like to play and didnt want to get too into this but I'm almost at my first prestige.

I'm in that clockwork mansion in Dishonored 2 and it's REALLY hard to work out where to go... I boot it up, get lost then not play it for a week and do the same thing again.

Finished Dragon Quest Builders' main story ready for Kirby tomorrow. That ending fight is great. Would probably have found it easier if I wasn't in handheld mode as its completely awkward to use the stick and d-pad at the same time with one hand.
Definitely a great one, and I'm ready for the second later in the year.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is actually really good. They really learned from their mistakes. The series has been a bit hit and miss since 3. I'm eager to play Origins now.

As an aside, Evie might be the best main character of the series. She's fantastic. Her brother is a sarcastic dick though.

Just Cause 3 (PS4). Not enjoying it very much due to the regular and lengthy loading times. Does anyone have this on the PC and can comment whether the loading is the same?

Yes?

I thought the cloxkwork mansion was a nice idea but there were only a couple of occasions I found the clockwork bit more than just a novelty. I really want to love the game as there is so much about it that is fantastic but it can be so inconsistent with how enemies spot you it's infruriating. All my favourite moments have been in the little towns with multiple pathways.

Yeah I’d love the option to just play as Evie, that said Origins is MILES better.

It's set in Egypt isn't it? I love that time period.

Yep (you can see a pyramid in my gameecard) Interestingly enough I didn’t, but I do now.

Last AC game I've played and enjoyed was Black Flag, even then it was more down to it being great fun to play rather than the actual story (which wasn't bad I suppose). I played Unity and it was alright, tried Syndicate and just couldn't get into it. Not thought about even getting Origins yet. Think I'm slightly burnt out with the series more than anything.

Are they still rumoured to be doing one set in Japan? I'd probably jump back into the series if that happened.

If you miss out on Origins you'll be making a big mistake, it's rebooted the franchise brilliantly and was the best game of 2017.

I'm off the opinion that they've been a bit hit and miss since 3. The Ezio trilogy was pretty solid.

Thought the Ezio trilogy was great for the most part, 3 was decent as well.

Origins is fine. It's an above average open world action game but I lost interest after 5 or 6 hours.
