Advance Wars DS. I can't help but love this game. It is a bit unbalanced in terms of CO's and the Tag super power, but it's still incredibly fun. So much content as well. My old file is on there and I haven't even bought all the maps and CO's yet, hardly touched the War room.

First game I got for the DS, think that was around ten years ago. Time sure flies. Definitely gonna go through Dark Conflict as well, as I never finished that one (I found it pretty tough).

Uncharted 4.

Just got to Madagascar and I'm really enjoying this. Much more than the original trilogy - maybe it's because I played the remasters and this is the first time the series has really impressed me graphically, plus the gameplay's that little bit more fluid.

I'm playing PES 2017 (PS4) and, having enjoyed the demo, Disgaea 5 (Switch). The game is so slick; great presentation, cool tunes and deep, deep gameplay. I'm only an hour into it and so I am wonderfully oblivious to how intricate things are gonna get  .

I believe that Karl has just started Disgaea, too.

Borderlands the pre sequel - kinda enjoying it. Just more of the same really with a crap oxygen mechanic added in.

Friday the 13th - when it works..... It's genuinely a wonderful movie license. However it's near impossible to get a match on PS4 and without a single player content yet..... It's very frustrating. I did get a chance to play as Jason, however due to the lack of tutorials I did really poorly. An amazing game is in here.....just needs working servers, a single player and a bucket load of polish as the concept is brilliant.

Whoever decided to assign strafe controls to the touchscreen in the Vita version of Ratchet and Clank 2 needs to be fired. Combined with terrible checkpointing and some horrible mini-games it makes big chunks of the game a chore.

R&C3 gives the option to change controls, and the mini-games seem better so far, making the game a much better experience.

Just started on Dead Rising 2 (PS4). When I originally played DR2 I didn't think it was as good as Dead Rising but having just finished the PS4 version recently, I'm wondering if my original view of DR was in part through rose tinted spectacles as I'm enjoying this more, it feels like it controls better and the graphics seem a little better.

I'm playing a bit of Battlefield 1 on PS4.

Just finished the single player which was ok. It looks spectacular but I feel the engine was a little underused. So much potential for a fabulous single player but felt it didn't really get into its stride. I do seem to remember Battlefield 2 on the 360 having a really interesting single player which made good use of the open environments / many NPCs / multiple vehicles. This one didn't quite click for me - although the Lawrence of Arabia story was cool.

Multiplayer is proving quite compelling (if a little slow to level-up). We've got lightning quick broadband in our house at the moment which means I have super slow latency and are finding games much fairer. However, it does just go to show that a lot of success in multiplayer games - particularly big battle games like this - is down to connection speed and not skill. Also, the DLC is, again, money-grabbing and divisive. "You can play our multiplayer game but, unless you want to grind, you're gonna have to pay for our season pass to unlock XP boosts and new weapon perks." ****ing hate this approach and want to just pay my £40 and not get punished for not spending £80 to fully enjoy the multiplayer component.

Still, when everything is going down, and you pull off an audacious move or snipe a player from across the map, there's nothing quite like how satisfying Battlefield can be.

Started playing Yakuza 5:

And immediately ignored the instructions to go apologise to somebody and instead spent half an hour playing Taiko: Drum Master and Virtua Fighter 2, before following it up by being unable to send any money to my orphanage because I'd spent it all on umbrellas.

I love this series so much.

Resident Evil 6 - after finishing 7 and getting bored on my second playthrough I decided to return to 6 which I never got into and all I remember was the crippling disappointment of it all. I'm enjoying it so far , coming to the end of Leon's campaign. It's now a corridor shooter but the feel is still Resident Evil 5 and the combat is enjoyable if a little melee focused. Will do the campaign the get into the amazing Mercenaries.

Cracked and bought Overwatch.

I didn't especially enjoy my free weekend trial, mainly as I was playing with randomers, but it was £17 so I trusted the mass opinion of the internet meta-mind over my own feeble thoughts and plunked the cash down regardless. Since then I've been playing with my girlfriend's brother who is level 400 odd and it's been great. I'm still shite, but I've chosen my mains (Zarya and Mercy) and feel like I'm making progress with both of them/

Just hit 50+ hours in Dragon Warrior VII. I recruited the fourth party member and bumped off an optional boss who was much easier than I was lead to believe.

Phantom Brave PC

Had the original PS2 version but didn't play it much as I'd played several lengthy RPGs at the time and weariness had set in.

The PC port is quite decent as now i can play it with a mouse and the HD UI is far easier on the eyes than the slightly blurry PS2 version was.

I'm still pretty much only playing Stardew Valley on PS4. About half way through Fall in year 1 and about 18 hours in. It's such a wonderful game, I've finally found the Harvest Moon game I've been looking for since forever. It's also on sale on the PSN at the moment so everyone should give it a go.

Also, after reading all the positives comments on Disgaea 5 I almost cracked and bought a Switch. Then I realised that I hadn't played 4 for ages on Vita so went back to that and created a new save. It's gaming crack condensing into a cartridge.

More Yakuza 5, I'm torn between wanting to 100% the game and not wanting to touch the creepy hostess clubs or the annoying as strawberry float pachinko machines. Also this game has the best Taxi Driver mode ever, you're rewarded for driving sensibly!

Disgaea will always be a handheld game for me, I just wouldn't play it on PS4.

Tekken 7

Fantastic game let down by a special stage boss.
He claims his power is absolute. Mate your power is spamming because your rubbish & probably have a limited set of moves. Music is good though.

Edit: Done. Have a taste of your own medicine sunshine :toot:

Hopefully will be playing Deadly Premonition on the PS3. Started playing on the PC but first couldn't get it into full screen. After finding how to do that, found that there is a bug if you use a controller which makes the camera constantly spin. Tried playing with the mouse and keyboard but it was bloody horrible so remembering that it was free with PSN+ a while back have reclaimed my PS3 and it is now downloading. Can't believe that the spinning camera issue seems to have been around for years but no one fixed it. :x

I've also learnt (or maybe remembered) how bad the store is on the PS3 compared to the PS4. :dread:

60+ hours into Dragon Warrior VII now and fatigue is starting to set in. I've hit a brick wall of a boss called Devil Cloud and from searching online the most effective way of beating it is a lot of class level grinding to unlock the third tier character classes and more grinding after that to unlock abilities in said classes and it was going so well too.
