Ghost Recon Wildlands.

Really enjoying this. Far more than I thought I might. Going to play some MP with a friend later.

I have that problem too, it's led to so many unfinished games over the years. I've been quite good over the past year and have generally stayed focused on one game at a time until it's done.

Glad to see someone else has this issue. My memory isn't good enough, to manage two games at the same time.
Same here. I've been playing this way for a few years. The more games you have on the go, the more chance one or more will get abandoned.

GR Wildlands is great fun in Co-op. Haven't stayed up to 3am playing a game in quite some time.

Just started Cuphead. FFS, why does it need to be so difficult? Anyway, first island done and dusted.

I bought this the other week and played a little bit of it. I don't think it's actually that great. My problem is that you don't enough time to respond to the stuff coming at you. I think the main problem is they went for a 4:3 ratio rather than a 16:9 one. I get why they did this but it makes the game way harder in a cheap and unfair way IMO. The game looks great though.

I think it is a good game, just that it has been made a little inaccessible by the difficulty level. I've only completed the first island but that was quite short. I understand that there are only 3 islands so if they aren't any bigger (but I suspect they will get more difficult) then the difficulty level may be masking a quite short game.

The thing is I love hard platform games. I really like Splunky, N++ and meatboy. I just can't get on with Cuphead. I'll probably have to have another go at some point but I'm just not really enjoying it.

Was up late again last night playing some more co-op with my mate on GR Wildlands. Absolutely love this game.

Also got a good few hours of NMS in yesterday afternoon. This game has certainly come a long way.

Just been playing it a bit more and I have to say it certainly isn't fun. Frustrating and unnecessarily hard yes, fun no. I've done about 4 or 5 of the bosses on the 2nd island and neither of the run & gun levels because they seem annoying and hard. The problem is, I'm not enjoying any of the levels. It feels like the gun takes too long to kill anything and there is no way to power up. I agree with your earlier comments about the screen format, just not much space for moving about.

Letter Quest Remastered (Switch)

^^^ Scratch that... I'm still playing! I had underestimated how much else there was to do. I'm re-visiting each of the 40 (not 30, as I had said) stages to tackle the various challenges for each one. I've completed each of the four challenges for the first eight stages now. I don't know if I'll be able to do this for all of them but we'll see. It's great!

If its anything like the Vita version then there is also an endless mode.

Absolutely, Rex - there is an endless mode on the menu. To be honest, I think that by the time (if/when) I "4-star" each of the stages I will be all worded out  .

I think that was how I ended up, played endless mode once or twice at the most.

Cleared the first area of Wildlands last night and have moved onto the next. Definitely my go to game for online shenanigans at the moment.

Got the next two days off so will start a new single player game from my back catalogue. Either Silent Hill: Downpour or Lollipop Chainsaw.

Have now four-starred the first eleven stages. Suspect I'll have to become Samuel Johnson to do the lot.

Started Alan Wake (PC) to take a breather from Cup Head. Can't remember a great deal about the story, other than his wife disappears and
the strange floating words at the end + I think it was all in his mind

The only things I remember about Alan Wake are the bit with the stage and it being a really poor advert for Energizer batteries.

I'd forgotten about the Energizer batteries, still don't remember them from first time round when I saw them this time.

Darkest Dungeon [PS4]

I was pretty overwhelmed at first with all the different mechanics (the tutorial tooltips don't do a great job) but I think I've got a handle on the basics, at least, for now. It's a lot of fun and you need to put genuine thought into pretty much every single decision you make; which characters to use, which order to put them in, which attacks to use, what items to use and when, is this dude too stressed, should I use a torch etc etc etc. Enjoying it a lot but I feel it's going to be too hard for me to beat as I'm generally pretty bad at strategy games. I'll end up trying to tank it and getting my ass kicked.

Once again without anything substantial to keep me hooked after being done with the excellent AC:Origins. Danganronpa: UDG was just too ropey looking, and couldn't convince anyone to play Tekken 7 with me   Am hoping Dead Rising 4 will do the trick but I dunno if I cba. The prologue was garbage.
