Err... nothing, really. Totally lost my gaming mojo at the moment. I've tried a few games for the odd five minutes here and there, but the only thing I'm sticking with is Letter Quest. Maybe a wee break from gaming will be a good thing.

Hey, still, yeah - I did get it but barely touched it. I'm getting disinterested in games within minutes at the moment... strange times! I will take another look some time, dude.

Still going through infamous: Second Son. I'm enjoying it but it suffers from the open world game problems of once you've liberated an area completely there is no reason to ever go back there and a morality system you have to decide on almost from the get-go and stick with it otherwise the best good/evil powers are out of reach. Still, its an interesting original superhero game without spandex and capes and is much better than Sunset Overdrive, a similar mobility-based third person launch game. I wonder if the time is right for another game in the series; either somewhere else in the world or maybe take on assassin's creed and have a historical game with conduits in ww2 or something.

Thanks, dude, I will give it a proper go.

Just pootled through another couple of stages in Letter Quest (Switch); I think I'm at 26 or so now. The simple gameplay but demanding thinking seems to be a good fit for me at the moment... it's a smashing wee title.

I played a bit of Cup Head, did really enjoy it. It's hard as nails and doing the same stage over and over again got a bit annoying but I didn't find the controls as good as other difficult platformers.

Persona 3 Fes

I've just beaten fourth full moon boss, and got past second set of exams which means beach scene soon.

In last playthroughs I've tried to do everything but this time I just stick to one or two things; like social links so it's much enjoyable this time around.

Still shite at persona fusion though, I just mash stuff and hope potential results are to my liking.... And I try to make main char to have one of each element so I could try knockdown without aid of others (as safeguard)

Playing Zelda BOTW on the train into and from work is quite the experience. I'm really impressed by the spectacle of it all and on a f***ing train.

I played it a fair bit on Wii U but I'm enjoying starting again, plus Kokoriko village runs perfectly compared to the Wii U which chugged. :o

Not done this for a while.

FIFA 18 - Loving it. Putting more focus on winning the cups rather than working my way up the leagues this year. Not even won the EA Shield yet. Got to the final a few times but still not won it. Normally come up against someone playing as Man City. Did manage to get to a shoot out against someone using City, they missed first but I tried to be smart and missed also and eventually went out. Don't think I've beat anyone using Leipzig yet. Hopefully this new striker Everton have signed will be decent on it.

Wolfentstein New Order - Enjoying this but for a FPS there's not much first person shooting in it and what is, is one of the weaker parts of the game. Just like the whole setting and unusually for me sort of interested in the story. The levels where you mainly just have to find things are a bit weird.

Recore - Looks nice. Plays fun enough but not quite really grabbed me yet. Maybe a bit shallow? Don't get much satisfaction from the enemies you have to kill. Also just seemed to start you in the middle of some story so not quite sure what the whole point is.

Hitman - Good but just feels a bit too much hard work a lot of the time. Not sure on the whole eavesdropping mechanism. Surely an assassin would have more of a plan of what he was going to do before he got to the location?

PUBG - I can see the attraction but not sure spending so much time with not much actually happening is the best use of my limited gaming time. Might enjoy it more in a squad.

Fallout 4 - I was going to start another RPG but decided to play through this again. I know it so well now so don't really need to concentrate too much so play when I don't feel like anything too intense. Didn't even join the Railroad first time around so missed out on achievements related to that and a few of the Brotherhood ones so am aiming to get those ticked off.

Brerlappin wrote:Combat overall is fairly dire. Don't get me strawberry floating started on the stealth sections, oh my strawberry floating balls they are HORRENDOUS. In stealth mode geralt moves like a mannequin on a skateboard and gets magnetized to walls with no rhyme or reason.

But having said that, the quests and story, characters and world are still great. And in 4K it looks gorgeous

I played it on easy for those exact reasons, i'd rather go through the story than spend forever stuck due to difficulty spikes or awful mechanics. Still died a couple of times though even though i imported my W1 save and started with rad armour and two swords from the first game :shifty:

I'm literally playing the same 3 games in rotation online every night. :fp:

It's usually Fortnite followed by Rocket League then PUBG. We put Rocket League in between to have a gap between battle royale games.

Fortnite and PUBG are so different from each other despite the similarities. Especially as we play in First Person now in PUBG exclusively. I adore PUBG, even when I get killed I enjoy watching my team mates play it, I can't put my finger on why but even spectating is very enjoyable.

Most likely Sea of Thieves and State of Decay 2 will no doubt either break this rotation or come into rotation themselves. PUBG and Rocket league will be ever persistent though.

I tend to have one main story game on the go with a side game i can just dip in and out of that has no story,l. At the moment between Infamous Second Son i'm playing Overwatch and Car Mechanic Simulator 2018. The latter is so relaxing but can get quite vexing; i had to replace one of the rotors in a Mazda RX-7 engine and just getting to it involved almost dismantling the whole engine and sending the car up and down on the lifter like a yo-yo to access the parts.

I can't play anything more than one game at a time. Anything more than that, and I forget what I'm meant to be doing in one of those games.

Still getting through Etrian Odyssey. Kinda stuck on this environmental ice block puzzle.

I have that problem too, it's led to so many unfinished games over the years. I've been quite good over the past year and have generally stayed focused on one game at a time until it's done.

Definitely... I find that trying to juggle more than two games at any time just means not doing much with any of them. I'm trying to stick to one "complex" game at a time whilst having another "simpler" (or just different) game as an aside.

Glad to see someone else has this issue. My memory isn't good enough, to manage two games at the same time.
