Lots of GRcadians seem to be playing Yakuza 0 at the moment!

It's cool to hear that you're getting back into gaming, Seven.

I mean I've been playing little and little but lacked movitation to sit down and play through anything for ages, before that it was just one game alongside mobile game but now I'm playing few games on go thankfully.

I also decided to take back what I said in my last post and went back to Yakuza 5 already, ha. I'm now on literally last chapter of finale chapter, gonna do side stuff before finishing it off - might take days though

Although you've got Yakuza 5 to work through, are you gonna get time to pop into FF XIV now and again, Seven?

Maybe not for while -- though I'll be doing summer event this year but I've been bored of game for very long time and felt like I was doing nothing but do same content for ages when being kinda on my own most of time there, so I decided to take breaks from it.

Still subbed though as I don't wanna lose my house on both Balmung and Louisoix but right now, I'm not hopping back just because new content, but hop back on when I have urge to play it. I can see it as actually having lot of stuff to try out when I come back.

It might be soon, or it might be while -- I want to finish off Talea of Beseria on Steam as well go back to XC1, all in middle of Yakuza session on top of Pokemon Go/Ultra sun and few other games

Not had chance to play it today but I got around to giving the master sword trails a go in Friday, not even done the first set yet!

The first set hasn't been that hard (first time I reached level 11 of 12, well I think it was 11) but I find myself being overly confident going into them, making silly errors and getting myself killed in the process. For the first level I think I just need to slow it down and stop making errors, I don't think I'll be getting through the second end third floors with my 13 hearts though or aren't they much harder really?

Ratchet & Clank (PS2)
I never played this when it came out and I had a hankering for some 3D platforming, so dug this out. It looks awful, but once you get past that (and the floaty controls) it's pretty enjoyable. There's pretty much no challenge to it, but I don't mind that - nice to just be able to progress through something without constant restarts and checkpoints and such. Feels like I'm blitzing through it - not sure how long it is - but I'm about 3 hours in and it's good fun so far.

It definitely ramps up in difficulty

The final boss might make you reevaluate the lack of checkpoints

Also the game looks good :(

Great - always love an overly difficult final boss. :dread: :fp:

I have completed the main story on Grand Theft Auto V (PS4) last night and it was fun!

It looks great, but it makes me think what it will look like for Red Dead Redemption 2 with 4K and HDR.

I can't judge you if I can't remember which option C refers to :(

As long as Franklin lives I'm happy

Yeah, RDR2 will look great, but think what a GTA6 would look like. And think what the world of it would look like.
Especially the strip club.

Tried that RUINER game on Gamepass, slick as fook presentation, love its style and it’s twitch gameplay and gore coupled with future punk UI make it rather brilliant.

Drumstick wrote:About to move into Day 5 and the third area. Pretty ace so far, these games are so enjoyable.

Had a rare moment today where I was starting to believe that I suck at this game. It took me almost two hours to complete one of the caves on level 2, I just kept screwing up and losing too many pikmin which meant reloading that sub-level. Got to the end and finished it eventually with 50-odd pikmin intact.

The game is always fun though, I think I've exceeded 10 hours on the clock and I'm also well on the way to fulfilling the monetary target.

I've finally managed to clear everything on the third level but not without a couple of annoying things happening.

On the penultimate level of one cave, I lured out one of the massive ladybug enemies with one leader as bait, ready to pounce with a squad of purples with Olimar from behind. Just as I approached from the rear, my wavebird decided to not respond for a few seconds which resulted in me losing half of my purple pikmin. :|

Also, the cave with the Waterwraith. I really enjoy taking my time through the caves and coming up with strategies to limit the loss of any pikmin. I didn't appreciate the time limit but thankfully it was only five sub-levels long.

Moved onto the final level today. Got 4 of the final 5 open world treasures and am well in the way with farming the requisite number of purple pikmin to get the last one. I've located all three caves as well so I'll probably make a run at one tomorrow.

Hole of Heroes is down, just Dream Den to go. Didn't find this cave all that bad, actually, seemed to be an emphasis on combat. Still kind of dread the boss battles though.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Assassins Creed Origins - post game clean up. Close to getting all equipment to max level. Really enjoyable time killer.

Burnout Paradise - easy to pick up and play, lovely soundtrack and pure arcade fun.

Dragonball Fighters Z - I'm crap at it but really enjoying the single player. Seems very unbalanced though.

Wish my image sig would work
