Play the Minerva's Den DLC as well. It's even better than the main game. It's a self contained story.

I prefer Infinite :shifty: .... I love the styling in all three games but I barely played the first and second ones because they spooked me out  :fp: .

Infinite is not a terrible game, it's just nowhere near as good as the first two. It's bloated and rather far up its own arse.

I always find this weird. I'm a big scaredy cat gamer, I found Dead Rising 3 freaked me out on occasion but honestly, I can't think of a much if at all in Bioshock 1 and 2 that would scare me. I love Infinite, but 1 and 2 are easily better.

I can't really play any kind of horror game... I did make myself stick with Dead Space for a few hours but, man, it was so tense. I can't even play the old Resident Evils, nor Walking Dead: Survival Instinct on my U. I'm working on building up my scare tolerance to return to Fallout 4 at some point  .

Whats scary about Fallout 4? The feral ghouls running at you are ...startling but VATS means you can pretty much stop time. You should try Resident Evil 7, I finished that game and had several mild heart attacks, you could stream it for the lols. Alien Isolation is even worse!

Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn on PS3. A few chapters in and this is decent enough although I get the feeling it's going to be a relatively short affair. It plays sort of like baby's first Prince of Persia (the original not Sands of Time).

My thoughts exactly. They should have trimmed the fat, and focused on making the combat actually enjoyable.

I liked the idea of the story, but the delivery was lacking.

I actually dosed off playing Infinite. True story.

Anyway, went back to Shadow of Mordor. It really is a very good game.

Holy strawberry floating gooseberry fool I am bad at Total War games. Spent all lunch watching videos on how to properly control troops and I still cannot win fights without hugely superior numbers.

I'm terrible these kind of games as well.

Funnily enough even though I used to be a figure painter for Games Workshop/White Dwarf I truly sucked at the games the figures were designed for. Think I won maybe two games of WH40K during my whole time at GW and I don't even recall winning at WH Fantasy Battle. :fp:

Yeah TW games are games id love to actually enjoy, but I think you need to be on a certain level of the spectrum to be anywhere near good at them. Ive still never made it past the tutorial battles of Empire and Shogun.

I've actually thought that myself after trying and failing to get into several different TW games over the years.

Same with Crusader Kings, although that's probably due to the miniscule text in the tutorial being almost unreadable so I literally had no idea what I was supposed to do.

I have a literal degree in War Studies and those games terrify/intimidate me.

Zelda isn't that janky though.

Dark Souls doesnt have "jank" tho. It might be a bit obtuse but its never what id term janky

Just did Gravelord Nito last night in DS1. Man strawberry float the tomb of giants. I love and hate that area in equal measure. I swear if there was world tendency in Dark Souls, last night it was pure black, cause those strawberry floating skeleton dogs absolutely ass blasted me over and over. Don't think ive had this much trouble with them since my first ever playthrough

I started Bioshock 2 remastered too last night. I think i played the game once, when it came out back in 2010. Its a 100% better game than Bio 1, but just far more forgettable just down to it being a sequel. The remaster looks lovely, playing it at 4K 60fps. I just beat the frist big sister and made it to Paupers Drop, hopefully i can actually finish this, because as much as i love Bio 1, any time i replay it, i give up by the time i get past meeting Ryan. The gameplay in 1 has just aged really really poorly.

I dunno, being hit through walls and falling through tiny gaps is pretty janky.

I don't get it, I really don't. The Dwarf campaign is supposed to be easy right?. By turn 25 I had two large armies, one of which had gyrocopters and advanced infantry. My coffers were full, I was ranked 3rd in the world in Military Might and I was getting ready to set out and conquer some lands. Then two massive Orc armies (20/20 units, all advanced troops) appeared from nowhere and killed every last one of my soldiers and captured two of my cities in one turn. I could do literally nothing about it.

I don't get it.

Went back to resident evil zero to do a no-save run: should be easy, I have the infinite rocket launcher. Breeze through the game only to get one shot killed by a giant frog about two minutes from the end boss.

RIP Corzon. Sucks that happened to you though, hopefully if you attempt again won't have problem like that again.

Got to Episode 3 of Apollo Justice, I felt the focus on Apollo wasn't that much - still felt like it focuses on Phoenix Wright more than anything. My friend said this and I've started to notice it myself.

That being said, I'm looking forward to playing Episode 3 tonight and I've been using the site that gives hints rather than whole situation and it felt much better than using full walkthrough like I did in second half of JFA and most of T&T.
