Xenoblade ChroniclesI'm 31 hours (I think) into this. Thankfully the side quests have thinned out somewhat and it feels like the plot is progressing at a decent rate. New characters, new abilities, new environments, etc. Still very much enjoying it, even if I only really get chance to play it for a few hours on a weekend, making for slow progress. Maybe by the end of the year I'll have it finished.
Space Channel 5 Part 2Hmm. For a rhythm action game it's disappointing that the best piece of music is the game's theme tune, that you don't actually get to 'play'. In terms of the plot I have absolutely no idea what's going on, and while the 'craziness' of the situations and characters can be amusing, when the music itself isn't that great and the gameplay tedious, it doesn't make for a great experience. I get the impression it's a pretty short game, so I could finish it off, but I'm not sure I have the inclination to. It also seems oddly difficult - I'm pretty early on, but already it feels like there are too many commands being thrown at me, and couple that with the 'correct' timing of certain beats clearly being off, it can make for a frustrating game. Tempted to just pack it in and move on.
