Just from what I heard, rather than actually experiencing it myself. Either way if you're enjoying the game then that's good, was worried about bad reception that game got.

Just ended up losing most of my inventory items in Divinity: Original Sin 2 after one of my party slept with a prostitute then got robbed afterwards by a gang of thieves who burst in while they were still naked and thus unable to fight (the rest of my party couldn't help as the room was locked) - I strawberry floating love this game.

Edit: realised I could have given my other party members the room key so they could join the fight or used the teleportation pyramids to warp them into the room

Spending most of my time on Puyo Puyo Tetris and Splatoon 2. That game managed to make me drop Overwatch entirely, haha. I think I will try to complete Skyrim this time around too.

Sunset Overdrive at the moment, trying to get better at it as enjoyment goes up when you chain your moves together as you kill enemies. I'm not good at it but at least I'm starting to enjoy it that I've took my time and started to enjoy the ride.

Dunno if I'll bother with collectibles and such, at the moment I'm just doing main story with occassional side missions

Child of Light on PS4. Just saved a village of beardy dwarf looking guys. I’m enjoying it so far but don’t like that you can’t see what the enemies are called like you can in most RPGs... unless there is a way to do this and I just haven’t realised yet.

One of my favourite games of all time (certainly in my top 20). Hope you dig it. And don't read anything about it (if you haven't already).

Don't know anything beyond there being several endings.

Played a bit of it last night, I was generally gripped by the stuff happening in it. Didn't want to put my DS down.

I'm not a big puzzle game fan so I'm hoping there's more visual novel stuff in it than puzzle solving. The writing is pretty good in areas.

I think the balance will suit you. You do need to be patient with this one though, it has some frustrations that are ironed out in later games.

If this keeps on going the way it has, this is going to be bit special. Just did the puzzle with the medical mannekins. I don't find the puzzles too intrusive because they are handled a lot better than how Professor Layton does them.

Some of the subplots are incredibly bizarre. I have no idea where they are heading and how they factor in. I have some ideas in my head about certain things though (Lotus = The Mummy?).

Yeah, I'm really enjoying this one.

Glad you're enjoying it. Perfect time of year for it in some ways as it's kinda chilled and feels like your setteling in to a good book (well it felt like that to me anyway).
No spoilers from me, just enjoy.

Still Child of Light on PS4. Since I just found the second of the three things the story said I had to find I’m assuming I’m around two thirds of the way through the game now.

Loving it

Back on to Subnautica. They released an Eye Candy patch which was enough reason to dive (lol) back in. My last save, into which I'd poured (lol) about 20 hours, was pretty much borked as I'd gotten myself stuck in a biome with very aggressive creatures who were patched to attack my submarine after I made the save. Made for a "Load-die-reload" situation.

Still, got myself back up and running within a few hours and now I remember why I love it so much. The sense of both horror and wonder is fantastic and the gating system is a marvel. Even after coming up on 30 hours with it I feel I haven't even scratched the surface.

Dead Rising 4 arrived today and is installing right now, so time to see if I'll enjoy it or not at least.

Puyo x Tetris in downtime on my switch and sometimes when mood strikes I'll go on final fantasy and do some roulettes to level up my bard slowly

Okay, gave DR4 some playtime.

Hm. Not complete worst game I've played, but still pretty disappointed in it. I do have strong feelings for it but I'll keep these to myself until I've at least beaten the story mode.

Still playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 , I'm finding some of the quests take a hell of a lot of guesswork to figure out what it is you're supposed to be doing but as I'm playing it at a leisurely pace I don't mind just wandering round the environments and seeing where things lead me.

My main problem with the game is that every single useable item gets automatically placed in the skill bar meaning there isn't enough space for newly learnt skills and spells without having to switch between up to three different skill bars or having to manually remove stuff every few hours. Also annoying is the lack of a button to separate/reunite the party members to move them individually, having to manually drag them apart is extremely tedious and makes the more stealthy/creative solutions to certain quests too much effort so I usually end up just going for the 'kill everything that moves' approach.

Replaying & larking around with the stealth camo in Metal Gesr Solid 4.

Playing chapter 4 & it turns out the scarabs can see you. Not really a stealth camo is it.
What a load of bollocks :|

Edit: even bigger bollocks is the fact that I can’t buy chaff grenades from Drebin. :|

Stories: The Path of Destinies on PS4. Another game I probably wouldn’t have played were it not for PS+. I’m enjoying it so far, it’s a fun mix of an action RPG and a choose your own adventure book.

After completing the simply sublime Metro Last Light Redux I'm not sure I'm enjoying my new game of Gears 4.

I can't put my finger on why I'm not enjoying it as the gameplay is solid and it looks amazing but it's just not gripping me like Metro did. One of the reasons I'm playing it is because I'm trying to get the prize for 15 days playing a game on xbox endless play (you need to play at least half an hour a day) but also because I remember really liking past Gears games but I'm struggling to play for the half an hour at a stretch and I honestly have no idea why.

> Fallout 3 (Xbox 360). I've returned to one of my all-time favourites titles... join me in my jawa's journeys thread if you want to chat about the game :) . It is fun to use the 360 again, too, as I haven't played on it for ages.

> The End Is Nigh (Switch). I enjoy platformers of this style; simple controls and devious but (just about... eventually... hopefully!) beatable levels. Great style and slick action. I find that you enter an "automatic brain" function when re-attempting a screen for the Nth time; you get "in the zone".

Nearing what I assume will be the good ending of 999. Everyone was a serial killer - the game.
