Still playing Far Cry 5, completed this last night, it looks straightforward yet was actually bastard hard, took more than a dozen attempts to get it right.

While I'm still playing RDR, today I've also returned to Mad Max. (PC).

Really like this game. The vehicle handling and combat, along with the unarmed combat, excels in my opinion and is throughly satisfying. The look and feel of the game is also excellent. Just finished removing all of threats in Jeets territory and now continuing on with the story a little before freeing up another area.

Taking a break from Max and RDR last night I decided to try out a couple more of these back cat games I've been snapping up.

Mirrors Edge and Burnout Paradise.

Both look much crisper, smoother and run fantastic. Mirrors Edge in particular, while always quite stylish, is a real beauty.

Im really impressed in how Microsoft have handled back catalogue on the X1S. It has breathed new life into games I might not have returned to again.

Still plugging away at FE Shadows of Valentia. On chapter 4. Alm's army sucks, Celica is a moron. Those are my main two gripes, it's a better game than Conquest and Birthright.

Just chipping away at the remaining two celebration pictures in Kirby Star Allies. The file says 100% but I say no.

Splitting my time at the moment between

God of War - Only a couple of hours in but I'm constantly getting my arse handed to me in combat. Haven't really found the flow yet. Lovely looking game though and the interaction with the main characters is brilliantly done.

Super Mario Odyssey - Finished the main game and now on to hoovering up those moons. Such a wonderful game, it's the main obsession of my 8 year old son too.

I've been playing Steredenn via Xbox Game Pass.

It's absolutely wonderful. I confess when I saw the screenshots it looked a little uninspiring, but it plays wonderfully and the random nature of the powerups makes it quite a tactical experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves an old school shmup.

Been finishing off Kirby doing the Ultimate Choice Boss Rush. Man it's difficult.
Just about beat the highest level and then there's ANOTHER version. Oh boy. Any tips would be appreciated as I barely survived the last one.

Currently jumping between Pokémon Crystal and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Just met Vandham in XC2 and I'm currently getting a Staryu up to speed on my team in Crystal.

For both these difficulties I always had Chef Kawasaki in at least one slot for some extra health boosts (should occur 4 - 6 times throughout due to cooldown) during battles.

And in my opinion Marx seems to be the most capable to play as, not least because he is pretty much invulnerable while performing his black hole and 'Marx flip ultima' moves.

Thanks for the advice, I was able to beat it similarly with Vividria on healing duty, and cheesing it with Stone Kirby's invincibility. Felt kinda cheap, but it worked!

Played some more of Far Cry 4 last night. As with all these games repetitive, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Will play some more Mad Max and RDR this evening, but tomorrow I'm going to give Monster Hunter World a bash.

Been playing Fire Emblem Heroes off and on, I've picked it up again when I got my new phone and I'm actually enjoying it lot more than last time. I don't play it all the time though as I don't want to burn myself out on it, but it did make bus trips to/from work more enjoyable experience (when people aren't chatting at all on Telegram/Discord)

Past few days its been Golf with your Friends on Steam, it's still in early access (since 2016) but I don't think it'll ever leave that - to be fair it only cost me £5 and I'm actually enjoying it with friends and/or my boyfriend and I started A Story About My Uncle last night (after my boyfriend helped me out getting it running, it kept doing D3D9 error or something...) - fun, but short. Already two levels away from finalie and I've only put in about three hours. That being said I might go back and mop up collectibies I've missed and do extra stuff for bit till I'm fed up of it.

With Story about my Uncle beaten, I've decided to move on from it and started Black Mesa instead. I'm impressed by how good it looks, feels like they've made Half Life 1 more modern without making too many changes to its core gameplay (plus additional closed captions without subtitles is always nice).

Not too fussed about Xen levels not finished, even though it has been while.

Still playing through Just Cause 3. Not overly enjoying it, but making the most out of a PSN+ freebie. Loading frequency and times is pretty poor and so is the fact you are forced to liberate settlements in order to progress the main story.

Reminds me of Mad Max or Infamous Second Son, but not as good as either.

Yes?

Devil May Cry
I'm playing this as part of the HD collection on 360. I completed it on PS2 years ago but I'd pretty much forgotten everything about it. It's pretty good still, albeit with some frustrations. Pretty short as well, looks like I'll finish it in 5-6 hours.

Xenoblade Chronicles
No idea how many months ago I started this, but it's still going. :slol: Think I'm at the 80 hour or so mark now, and I'm just about to fight Jade Face (seriously, could they not come up with better names for the main enemies?). Still enjoying it though.

Stuck a lot of time into Shadows of Valentia yesterday, still on the 4th chapter. Not digging the level design the further I get into it. I beat this mission where this enemy mage can do an area earthquake at you from halfway across the map. It was annoying as all hell. The cantor units are starting to become a pain in the ass as well.

I also have seemingly leveled Alm's army too much, and now Celica's one is woeful in comparison. Gonna have to grind.

Got a good bit of gaming in this weekend.

CoD: BLOPS 3 - Started the campaign, which as your standard over the top affair I'm happy with. Tried some MP as well and got wasted. A lot. Good fun though.

Mad Max - Jeet's territory is now cleared 100%. Moved onto Gutash's territory now. Still very much enjoying this.

Assassin's Creed - Completed all 12 towers in the first area, located 37 of the 100 King Richard flags, dropped 17 Templars, assassinated the Doctor in Achre and now just outside Jerusalem for my next story mission.

Lords of the Fallen - Dipped my toe into this again last night. Like the Souls games it's really hard and I'm sometimes left scratching my head as where to go next, however I really quite like it. Dropped another Champion after a couple of attempts, so happy with that.
