I quite like the idea of OnRush but I've a feeling it's price is going to do a DriveClub so I might pick it up when it hits £15 in about 2 months time.

Didn't even know there was a remaster for this!

It's a bare bones remaster, it merely ups the resolution and little more according to Digital Foundry.

I was interested in it until I looked at the PC version requirements. Shouldn't be an issue running this to a comparable level on my potato.

Really enjoying Far Cry 3, yeah it feels a little dated in terms of graphics and gameplay, but i'm still having a lot of fun, and it was well worth the £8.99 i paid for it.

I'm big into Cyberpunk games, so hoping that I'll enjoy these.

BEWAre the prologue chapter, it gives you a lethal gun and without realising you could end up killing and they count toward final ratings

Been playing through Hitman (2016) over the last week and really enjoying it. I've been spending as much as 4 hours on each level and they are so dense with content, it's fantastic. I can see myself going through each of them at least once more on professional difficulty too.

I can't help but get into the role-playing aspect of it and walk everywhere though (got silent assassin on every mission so far 8-)), a strange dedication to have when the game is less about an authentic hitman experience and more about learning how to manipulate semi-broken AI systems.

Might have to get Hitman 2 at launch so I don't miss out on all the elusive targets next time.

Been going through Mario Tennis Aces and I'm getting real mixed feelings atm. The new mechanics are great and it all makes for a lot of strategy in each match, also loving the online but I just can't get into the story mode it just feels boring and tacked on just to say it's a story mode.

I only dabbled briefly with the game but it did seem to be really neat, SD. It's cool to hear that you're enjoying the undercover action!

I've put a few hours into OnRush now and it's just terrific! It's fast, bombastic and hugely arcade-y... it feels so good to play. Whilst simple to pick up and play for a short session, it can drag you in for the longer term, too. The game has been a real surprise for me and is definitely one of my faves so far this year.

Decided to pick up Nioh, not played it since I got into it at launch. Curry level 90 and really enjoying it. Dark Souls 3 has made me a better Souls player so I'm finding it a lot more forgiving than last time.

It's the perfect blend of Bloodborne, Diablo 3 and Samurai culture.

Wish my image sig would work

Resident evil 6 - bought A collection of 4,5 and 6 years ago and never got into 6. Started the prologue with Leon and it felt awful, so I gave up.

No idea why but I started again and stuck with it. Doesn’t feel resident evil at all and suffers horrendously dated gameplay mechanics. Endless QTE, painful on rails sections, bosses with glowing weak spots... instant deaths that come without warning makes it trial and error... it feels so derivative and a throwback to late 90s gaming.

But somehow I’ve stuck at it. Yes I’ve put it on easy so I can just “experience it” I have no intention of going back once I’m done. Leon’s campaign was alright, Chris’ was weaker and had a lot of annoying bits. Just started Jakes and I’ve heard this is the worst so let’s see if I can see this out!

I'm playing Transformers Fall of Cybertron again. This game is the tits. Big on spectacle, some really cool set pieces and levels. The Combaticon level was awesome.

And Metroplex. He heeds the call of the last Prime :datass: :datass: :datass:

Over the past week I've played a little bit of PES 2018 (PS4), a wee bit of Animal Crossing (3DS) and several hours of OnRush (PS4).

I recognise that we're only half-way through... but OnRush is becoming a contender for my GOTY. It seems to have garnered little attention and been a flop sales-wise but I love it. It's exciting, moreish and downright rambunctious!

Tales of Bastria (PC) and HuniePop (PC)

I bought Huniepop when it was on sale for £1.74 and not expecting much from it, in end it's fun puzzler and I'm still trying to get 10 alpha dates beaten before doing new game for rest of achievements, sitting at 15~ hours right now. The photos are... rather something though :dread:

Tales of Bastria - Despite owning it on PS4 I've decided to pick up PC version before the sales went away, and so far while I do enjoy it I'm still not too sure on combat. All I do is just mash attacks :/ Upped the difficulty from Normal to Moderate, hoping it'll open up more and I'll learn more about the combo system better.

Have you been playing OnRush online Jawa? Is there an offline option?

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I have been playing online to a large extent, Octo. There is a single-player offline campaign (and you can use a photo tool in it which I'm keen to try out) but I only completed the first section of that before venturing into the multiplayer online mode. The online mode is easy to jump into and play plus there are additional multiplayer options coming soon.

I played a bit more yesterday and, for the first time, I got the most takedowns in a race :) . I felt like a boss and started grooving to the music :datass: :toot:  :fp: .

Gave the Onrush weekend trail a go and I'm really impressed with it, the game is a fun take on the arcade racer and there is a nice variety in the modes on offer. The game is a bit too much for £40 but at £20 I'll bite, so I'm keeping an eye on for the sales.

Got the Sega Mega Drive collection and it's a brilliant collection of games, yes there are some notable omissions but there's still plenty of top notch titles here.

Rusty Lake Roots

Wasn't expecting much from this Flash room escape/point & click series when I picked it up in the Steam sale and the first game (Hotel) was rather short and definitely showed its origins as a browser game, yet I found myself enjoying the dark and creepy atmosphere and immediately started playing this 2nd game after finishing it.

Roots is a lot more polished and longer a game and has a more cohesive story centering on the lives and tragedies of several generations of the Vanderboom family, including occult rituals, suicide, murder and human cloning.

It's on sale at the moment for £27 in the PS Store, ibdw.
