That's roguelikes for you. Hand of Fate is the only one of that genre i've lasted with - i enjoyed nuclear throne for a while but realised i was never going to get to the end and would rather spend the time on my backlog of "proper" games.
It just seems ridiculous to me that there is no sort of warning and you only find out about it as it kills you. It doesn't take too long to get back to that point (well, I assume so, I've not tried) but it is frustrating that you can't just restart at the point you died, but then given it would probably only take an hour to complete the game with restarts you can understand why.

Currently playing Vampyr and it's pretty fun glad I rented it as its certainly not without some cumbersome load times and sloppy combat at times but im only about half way through and already looking to replay it with a no killing human run.

Killed Jindosh in Dishonored 2:

I went back a few saves and went through slowly, took me about an hour but I saved Sokolov also with a low chaos rating.

Finally finished Persona 5 last week. I'm now playing through Valkyria Chronicles Remastered on PS4 and Jeanne d'Arc on my (newly hacked) Vita. Love me some turn-based strategy RPGs, and these are two of my all-time favourites.

Still plugging away at Pokémon Yellow. I’ve just beaten the final gym, I’ve got 120 Pokédex entries and find myself with a couple of choices on what to do next.

I could head for victory road and try to finish the game, I could pad out my Pokédex with some evolutions or I think there are still a few Pokémon to catch by fishing in some areas.

Destiny 2, I've finally getting into the game after months and months of bashing it and now I'm really enjoying it. The game really opens up after completing the story.

Think I'm done with Nuclear Throne. Just can't get back to the last level since I originally did it. strawberry floating annoying as I want to complete it but there is just no sense of progress.

I have played Overcooked 2 recently, and beaten it too. Good game, though it's the only game I have played in about 2-3 months.

Finally loaded up F1 2017 to crack on with my career mode, still going for the long term gains with Force India, at Spa in season 2 and I've only just put my 3rd upgrade on the car, I've fallen back by a fair bit! Next season should be immense for upgrades though as they'll all be half price!

Sonic Mania Plus is reminding me why I shouldn't play Sonic games.

Level design in this is as obnoxious as strawberry float at times. Much like the older Sonic games.

Think I might have to restart Persona 3 after just over 100 hours played :dread:

I'm near the end, just before the showdown with Nyx and don't think I've levelled up enough. The way the game mechanics work means I don't have enough time to grind sufficiently before the end.

This kind of thing is why I hardly ever finish JRPGs.

Thankfully on last day nobody can get tired at all from what I can gather so you can use this to grind for levels.

So no need to restart, just spend some time grinding levels on last few floors when heading back to save point

Wow aside, I've been playing Octo expansion for Splatoon 2 -- loving it, just difficult but that's good I think as I felt base game was bit on easy side. Gonna take my time 100%ing it

Into The Breach on Switch and, as expected, it's a perfect fit. I've managed to catch up to my PC save in a matter of hours and I can see me putting a lot a lot a lot of time into this one. Again.

Was tempted to reload my earlier save from before deciding to kill Ryoji or not and just go for the 'bad' ending then do it properly in NG+ as I haven't got all the social links maxed out.

Think I will have another playthrough though as I've missed a few things early on in the game which I don't have time to do now before the end.

Dead Rising 3 - after playing Dead Rising 4 on PS4 and finding it very flat. I went back to DR3 which I've already played at launch on Xbox one. It's soooo good. Loads of zombies, loads of weapons, loads of upgrades and a lot of things to do. Makes Dead Rising 4 look like the rush job it was. The amount of zombies is staggering.

Wish my image sig would work

Gears of War 4.

Not got very far into it, but other than the flashbacks at the beginning, nothing like Gears of War story wise. Sure this will change though......

I remember at launch lot of people seem dismissive of DR3 but I thought it was still fantastic entry into the series with exception of psychos (I get the idea of them, but they don't really match DR1/2 and OTR excellent psychos) and the bit after the credits.

Dr4 on other hand is massive pile of gooseberry fool, and that's me trying to be nice. Genuinely dislike DR4.

Playing and loving Dead Cells even though every sessions ends with me dying and losing lots of cells.

Lost another 10 this morning (which I got from opening my first timed door) after I was down to HP dregs for the final few minutes of play. What's worse is that I died with both grenade slots filled and off their cooldown :fp: :fp: :fp:
